Hoping we see some inverted PnR with Dame and Giannis. Would also love to see Dame work more in the midrange when he’s coming off a screen.

Regardless of what giannis is doing Lillard needs to get going for this team to have any chance in the playoffs. We know what we get from giannis. Not sure sure yet about Lillard. I’d try to get it to him more until he figures something out

Or is it because they play thru lillard that all the attention goes to him because he has a history of making big shots (or making big shots in big spots that repeatedly get replayed in highlights) that it leaves Gianni’s with an easier matchup

Giannis is the best player in the World but his role isn’t a closer his job is one that only maybe 3 players in the entire NBA can do. Giannis’ job is to carry this entire team on both offense and defense for 40 minutes a night during the playoffs. We just need a guy that will close it out with an automatic bucket that isn’t worn down from a 40 minute carry job. Last thing we need is Giannis shooting middies with in final seconds after being completely exhausted. In 2021 Khris was perfect for the job this season it’s gonna have to be Dame since he can score at all 3 levels most games unless he gets double teamed then give it to Beasley for an open bucket. If Khris can get healthy by playoffs TERRIFIC WE’LL HAVE 2.5 Closers!
Regular season stats don’t mean dick about who will do what during playoffs. Giannis might be a great regular season closer because he isn’t carrying 40MPG on both sides of the ball.
