Sure would be nice if we could use our last roster spot on one of the half dozen buyout wings/forwardsā€¦

  2. when will the pain and suffering stop

the decision not to amass assets at the deadline looks worse and worse. Turned down frps, prospects, and multiple seconds to chase a playoff berth with Zach, PWill and Lonzo all out for the season and 0 healthy PFs on the roster

  3. Bulls and season ending injuries, name a more iconic duo.

  4. Not trading at least 2 of demar Caruso and Drummond this deadline is just looking more and more crazy by the day. Having 34 year old demar lead the league in minutes played for the hope of maintaining the 9th seed is wild

  5. Canā€™t wait for all the comments for people who have never opened their biology books blaming this on our medical team

  6. Head-Champion-7398

This is the most cursed team of all time.

  7. JericRose

Not only is this team mediocre as shit even with everyone healthy we also have the shittiest luck in the whole league

  8. almvghtyyy

We have 3 starters that had ā€œday to dayā€ injuries turn into season(s) long injuriesā€¦ what on earth is going on

  9. Wow wouldā€™ve been a great season to sell off valuable assetsā€¦ oh wait

  10. jimbobdonut

This is his fourth season. Heā€™s played in 71, 17, 82 and 43 games in those seasons. I donā€™t know how you can pay a guy big money with his injury history.

  11. Coballatheu

Someone called this as soon as he was out a couple weeks back. Weā€™re officially cooked.

  12. I’m genuinely so envious of the people that still try to defend the decisions of the FO and the outlook of the team on this sub, I’d be a happier person with such a level of delusion

  13. What a fucking seasonā€¦ remove Coby White, and this season hasnā€™t just been a wasteā€¦ it has been a net negative. Couldnā€™t trade LaVine, We didnā€™t really get to evaluate Pat, we are gonna lose DeRozan for free, nor did we trade Caruso/Drummond at their highest points. And now weā€™re about to give 20m/year to a player with basically 2 season ending injuries & hasnā€™t really proved anything

    Good riddance AKME & Reinsdorfs

  14. ThrobbinRicke

Have no idea what his contract will look like now, he should have taken the money. I’m betting his contract situation doesn’t get resolved until August he’s got no leverage now

  15. Just-Efficiency3129

4th pick amounted to 10 ppg with no hustle or aggresion, good defense, 0 improvement year by year and injury prone. Fantastic

  16. Get well soon PWill.

AK and the Reinsdorfs, please go fuck yourselves.

  17. Dudes going to be real disappointed with what his contracts looks like. But with this front you never know.

Guy has been the same all 4 years in the league. The leaps and progression has just not been there. Add on top of that missing tons of time and you have a super disappointing player for a top 5 pick.

Anything over the deal Coby got is a massive overpay

    Feel bad for Pat.

What a disaster season for this franchise man. When it rains it pours.

  19. FreshAirways

Beyond the obvious failures by our FO to do anything logical… can we talk about how bizarre it is that Lonzo, Zach and Pat all went from day to day to season ending surgery

can this organization do anything right aside from make money?

  20. RogerCosgrove

This sucks for a lot of reasons, especially since Pat couldā€™ve benefited from our thin lineups by being more involved in the offenseā€¦ but holy shit are injury timelines completely made up for this franchise. Do we just have to assume anyone being out for ā€œ2 weeksā€ or an ā€œundisclosedā€ timeline is out for the year? Do they just tell us pure bullshit regarding injuries? Franchise is an absolute joke.

  21. collect_my_corpse

Heā€™s been playing this whole season?

  22. Brendan815

Any smart people know kind of surgery do they do for a stress reaction? Stick a screw in there? Google indicates this is typically a conservative healing kind of injury, so Iā€™m curious what they do to a seemingly minor fracture in a high level athlete like this.

  23. ArtVandelay-1985

With their previous history, this means heā€™s in line for a $30-$40M a year extension.

We could have blown it up last year and been no worse off this year but we’d have picks. Even this deadline we could have had 3 2nds for Drummond and Moody+ a 1st for AC. Add in whatever we could get for the big 3 and we could have completely started over with future draft capital to build around our young guys. This team is just killing time.
