It’s Fine, occasionally losing some tough road games. But feels bad that, these games gonna hurt Luka’s MVP case with almost no fault of his own
You can be hyped all you want about this team but as long as Jkidd is here this team isn’t going anywhere .

I stated this when we were playing good in the 1st quarter, “we’re a fun team to watch when our emotions aren’t held hostage by a POS THJ getting minutes and disturbing the flow of our game”, and then POS Kidd gives THJ extended minutes. Fuck Kidd.
As with most of our lost games THJ and Jkidd disaster class, once those two are gone our team is a serious contender, until then we’ll always have clear holes in our game
THJ and PJ were so bad. Kidd needs to grow some balls and bench these players faster when they’re ice cold.
As long as Lidd and THJ are a part of this franchize, we are not serious. Not at all.
Like if we just fired the bald watcher and waived THJ (clearly noone else wants the bum) we would stand a chance as contenders. But with them, there is no future in dallas.

Lively was the only one on the team with a positive +/- at +9 in 14 minutes. Criminal that Tim got more minutes than him.
The Mavs shot 45% from three and lost by over 20 points. I was floored when I saw the box score. I assumed they had a terrible shooting night.
Luka being the highest rounder on the team with 6 is fucking stupid
Potentially 3-1 road trip wasted. Will be lucky to go 1-3 after this shit show.
Also, probably wraps on Luka’s mvp chances, floor’s too low on this team to get him the MVP.
Luka and Kyrie will give you about 60 but it’s a mystery where the rest of the points are going to come from. PJ has to contribute on offense…

Carlisle knew how to coach against this team. Kidd didn’t against them. Team was flat as a result, with all the usual Kidd negative traits were on display. His rotations alone deserve him getting canned.

Supporting cast did not deliver. PJ seems off today even in defense. THJ needs to be benched sorry.

I thought this team was too well constructed for Kidd to fuck it up. Boy, was I wrong.
All of you blaming certain players clearly weren’t paying attention. Sometimes guys are off but one thing that is completely in control is lineups and adjustments.
THJ’s job is to shoot and keep shooting, he is what he is. Kidd’s job is to take him out when he is hurting the team. One person here did not do their job and it is the guy just watching like the rest of us.
Kidds 3rd year, he will be out next season. This guy is incompetent af.
Tim is literally unplayable. PJ was abysmal on offense . Can’t find a bright side in this loss. Gafford and Lively got cooked in the PnR . Luka and Kyrie can’t do everything for this team to win.
I know we aren’t gonna win them all but it’s still disappointing to lose in this fashion.
1. Kidd was completely outcoached and didn’t make any adjustments. Or if he did Carlisle was able to counter them.
2. Nobody outside of Luka and Tim could do anything. PJ and Tim were especially awful.
3. On the Tim subject, how Hardy didn’t get more minutes in this game is beyond me. I really hope Kidd gets grilled for keeping THJ in but unfortunately we don’t have reporters that ask these kind of questions during post game conferences.
The positive is that this loss should hopefully keep the team humble and remind them they have to be locked in night after night. They can’t let outside hype get to them and just assume they’re going to beat everybody. Plus we were due for a loss anyways.
I am so baffled why Kidd let THJ in for so long. Hardy has been playing decent and still gives him no minutes.
This is on Kidd. THJ terrible all night but he kept him in the game with just 4 Pts behind instead of immediately bringing Luka back in.
I don’t mind losing, but I’ve done enough THJ defense in my mind for a lifetime lol. It’s just too hard to win games if you’re a below average defender, taking low percentage shots and having more turnovers than the primary ballhandlers and facilitators. We pay this guy $18M, he has to be shipped this summer. And if any of you say “But he was 3-6 from 3PT”, you didn’t watch the game lol.
