Oklahoma City Thunder wins their fifth in a row as they defeated the Houston Rockets, 123-110. The Thunder outscored the Rockets, 66-48 in the second half as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (36 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals) and Chet Holmgren (29 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 blocks) totaled 66 points as Jalen Williams added 22 points. Jabari Smith Jr. led the Rockets with 20 points and 17 rebounds while Alperen Sengun added 19 points and 12 rebounds. The Thunder move to 40-17 as the Rockets move to 25-32. They become third team in NBA to reach 40 wins (Boston, Minnesota).
In tonight’s game, Chet Holmgren surpassed 150 blocks and 100 3PT FGs on the year, making him the first rookie in history to reach such marks.

    This team is DEEP.
    Yes they are young but they have a LOT of threats that can score like crazy.
    And to the people saying That “they will key in on shai” and shot him down in the playoffs, have you not been watching the okc games recently?!?! They ARE KEYING IN ON SHAI !!
    Every team throws a new defense at the. Trying to shut them down!
    And it may work some for a half but by the 2nd half they’ve figured it out and obliterate them! The coach and players are top notch at okc!

    I’m not saying they will win the chip cause they are young and without playoff experience right now but as good as this team is do NOT think they will be a 1 and done
    You just don’t know basketball if that’s what you think or else your just biased, or jealous cause your team ain’t that good.

    I ain’t gonna lie, I just realized that OKC has their top 5 best offense and defense with one of the best head coaches in the league. And they are young too. I thought OKC would be first round exits but now they are going to be a real playoff threat the way they have been playing when they beat many elite teams where I never noticed they did until I find out from other folks that did watch OKC ball since i’m not an OKC fan. I have a lot of respect of this OKC team. I can’t hate on them 🎉
