Which bulls exec said this I wished they revealed his name. That is a horrible take to call out the fans like that. Shocked no media noise is made, bring out the billboards. That last comment about filling out the arena turning a profit they good, nah no way I cant take that. Owner needs to find that person and get rid of them we dont need or want that kind of culture. You there to win not just to be good only. Challenge to being great and win something wtf

Not sure what to make of this. Seems like those people bitching don’t really matter to them since the arena is still full.
We’ve all known this for years.
Not sure why the front office is bragging about staying competitive as if it’s a really difficult thing to do. It’d be one thing if they were doing things to try to improve the team by sacrificing the future. At least then they could argue that their actions are actually impacting the product on the floor (even if it would be a dumb decision).
But they’ve literally done nothing in 2.5 years besides sign current players to extensions and make mid-level and minimum signings. We could have had no GM for the last 3 years and we would have pretty much the same team.

Don’t all Bull’s fans know this by now? As long as the money is rolling in the Reinsdorfs are happy to keep it status quo. In fact I would argue that they don’t really want to compete at championship level because then they will have to go into the tax. They want to do just enough (which isn’t much) to keep the building packed but never be in danger of paying the tax.
Reinsdorfs have no shame. You sorta have to respect how much they just don’t give a fuck.

Nah that’s the owner’s culture. As long as the stands are full-ish and people are buying $11 beers the Reinsdorfs don’t care about the score of the basketball game.
