The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Orlando Magic, 109-92. Dejounte Murray led Atlanta with 25 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists as Jalen Johnson added 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Franz Wagner (19 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists) and Wendell Carter Jr. (18 points, 10 rebounds) led the Magic.
The Hawks snap a 3-game win streak for the Magic and move to 25-32 as the Magic fall to 32-26.

    This was a good win, I’ll say that. Easily our best defensive performance of the year. Obviously the tough news of trae being out at least 4 weeks, going to be really tough without him but this was a really good win. Overall defensively i thought we did really good, held orlando to 92 points which is good in todays league. But what we saw in that 3rd quarter, that mid game take over is something we don’t see from this team often, but they pulled away and maintained it the rest of the way. Murray was really good today, one rebound off from a triple double but he was a great facilitator today. Bogi beyond the perimeter was great once again, saddiq made some big time effort plays, and was physical throughout. Jalen as well was really good on the glass and on the attack inside, very promising from him. Capela also was solid on the glass despite the tough night. Off the bench dre was incredible, he’s been a bucket and was excellent defensively, bruno as well on the glass his attack was great, and some promising minutes from bufkin, talented play maker, hope to see him continue to get minutes. Obviously it’s been a tough season and we definitely could be in a better position but this is a good win. Hope to see more of this, utah in town next. Let’s go hawks #TrueToAtlanta

    Well…. we lost today. Even tho trae didn’t play but murray outplayed us completely. Unfortunately, we lost this series 3-1. Paolo didn’t play at all due to his illness. And JI got hurt in the first half that ruin our chances to beat atlanta. Unfortunately, as an Orlando fan, I knew we would lose this game ever since JI got hurt. We better not tank down after this happened. We have to beat Brooklyn at home on Tuesday. We haven’t beaten Brooklyn yet this season. It’s never too late for us to beat them. We just need Paolo and JI back by then but idk how long will JI be out for. I couldn’t believe he’s hurt again…. Onto the next. Let’s beat Brooklyn at home please 🪄 #PureMagic

    The Hawks still might be able to save the season Trae will be back for the last bit of the season but, the question is who gets traded on draft night

    Hell of a win for Atlanta. From a defensive standpoint this is easily one of the best wins of the season for Atlanta. Murray played great today. Bogi was great from beyond the perimeter as he 3-5 from three. Bey was solid as he went 5-11 from the field and 2-5 from three. Jalen Johnson had a tremendous game as he went 9-19 from the field and 2-5 from three for 21pts. He was three assists away from a triple-double. Overall, this was a really good win for Atlanta and hopefully they can continue to find ways to win games. It's going to be tough without Trae Young for four weeks, but they've gotta keep grindin'.

    I wish the Magic got a veteran guard who could lead this past deadline. I'm all for developing young guys, but there's too many mistakes being made by the backcourt. We got 3-5 locked down, but need to stabilize the 1&2. I like Suggs, but until his shot becomes consistent we need to build better, Fultz, Cole & Black are good bench guys, but we can't start 2 of them as of now and think we're gonna constantly win. Paolo out was tough too, and seeing Issac go down is a huge bummer, like deflating a balloon, wish him the best. Go Magic!

    Jalen Johnson is so instrumental in the Hawks winning. He has Jokic's mentality of getting all his teammates involved.
