    This. Most newer fans think we’re going for the chip next year or are too worried about conveying or not like people just have to sit and watch, this is what being a fan is and watching the development of players and then later down the line them being good is what makes it all worth it in the end

    I’d say there’s SOME level of concern regarding roster building, but it’s moreso that it’s not worth the stress of something that is entirely left to the fate of the lottery odds. If the pick stays, great! We’ll have a better chance of adding to the core on Scottie’s timeline. If it conveys, then at least we can look at a much better draft next year, and the Raps have ALL their future assets to play around with as soon as this off-season. Like imagine, wishing that the Raps are bad enough to fall to the 5th best lottery odds, only to have the lottery balls could completely fuck them over and bump them up two spots. Don’t set yourself up for devastating levels of disappointment lol

    Yeah, who are we to value this!? If only there was some sort of way to be able to select young players in late June who may have the potential to contribute to this franchise one day to help us turn into a winner.
