Donovan Mitchell Is Going To RE-SIGN With The CAVS

Donovan Mitchell Is Going To RE-SIGN With The CAVS

Will Donovan Mitchell stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers long term the chances of that happening are bright in all honesty Donovan Mitchell has the best chance of winning a ring here in Cleveland The Narrative surrounding Donovan Mitchell has been when Cleveland will trade him to a bigger Market that

Was a story of the off season and it got even louder when the team announced the injuries sarius Garland and Evan Mobley in the middle of December however it seems that the narrative may be shifting to a more hopeful outlook for Cass fans let’s start here a lot of recent talk

Regarding Mitchell’s future comes after an Eastern Conference executive reportedly said that the allstar is definitely leaving Cleveland when his contract is up but let’s not so quickly forget that just a few weeks back another NBA executive said that they believe Donovan Mitchell will end up resigning with the Cavs Mitchell has

Said on multiple occasions most recently last Wednesday that the most important thing for him is winning that’s something the Cleveland Cavaliers have seen a lot of lately as they have won 18 of their last 20 games and sit second in the Eastern Conference this is the type of success that a

Player would surely be happy with including Mitchell in fact he all but admitted this according to a recent report Mitchell was reacting to the Nick’s Quinton Grimes trade and he said to himself softly everything happens for a reason and I’m happy as hell where I’m at Mitch rarely talks about his future

He’s always been focused on here and now and what he can do to help his current team based on what he said Mitchell is happy to be a Cavalier unlike some national media reports that people lead to believe Cass fans have to love this news as it’s a positive sign for the

Team’s chances of keeping Mitchell For the Long Haul Mitchell is under contract to the 2024 25 season and as a player option for the 2526 season there is a chance he could opt out of that player option following the 2024 25 season to become an unrestricted free agent for

Cleveland that is a sign that Mitchell might be thinking of leaving to come as early as the off season as he could refuse to extend his contract with the franchise in all NBA selection last season Mitchell has led the Cavs to a 36 and 17 record at the NBA’s All-Star

Break good for the number two seat of the Eastern Conference and Mitchell is playing at a high level averaging 28 and2 points 5 and a half rebounds and 6.3 assists which is his career-high per game while shooting 47% from the field and 36% from Beyond the AR for now

Mitchell needs to focus on the season but if the team keeps playing well and Mitchell remains happy he may consider staying with the franchise Beyond his current deal the Cavs are not in a situation where they are even interested in listening to what the teams are going to offer for Donovan Mitchell they’re

Not even considering that at the moment Donovan Mitchell talked about his time in Utah during their conversation Mitchell discussed some memorable moments from his career including the NBA draft his rookie season covid-19 pandemic the bubble in Orlando and getting traded to the Cavs Mitchell called the summer of 2022 a wild time in

Sep member of 2022 the Jazz traded Mitchell to the Cavs Windor said when Mitchell found out he was on a golf course and he found out that Moy Jared Allen and Darius Garland were not in the trade and neither was Kevin Love and he went screaming around the golf course as

He was very excited he’s extremely excited in the moment and I’m sure he would love to have been a Nick but that’s his hometown but he’s extremely excited to be in the moment Mitchell has even confirmed Wind Horse reports to this reaction that story of me running

Around the golf course it was all true Mitchell said I was hyped since leaving the Jazz Mitchell has continued to play at the Superstar level with the Cavs during his first season in Cleveland Mitchell led the Cavs to a 51 and 31 record in the regular season the Cavs

Were eliminated in the playoffs though in the first round but this season Cleveland is 36- 17 currently ranks fourth in the NBA with a scoring average about 28 and 1 half points per game it’s plausible that Donovan Mitchell would opt to resign with the Cleveland Cavaliers for various reasons the Cavs

Have demonstrated a commitment to building a competitive team around Mitchell showcasing their dedication to a success within the organization Mitchell has thrived in Cleveland system showcasing his scoring prowess and Leadership qualities which could Foster a sense of loyalty towards the team that has provided him within ample opportunities for growth and success the

Cast front office has exhibited a willingness to invest in talent and strategic moves to bolster of the roster solidifying their appeal as a destination for Mitch’s long-term ambitions the Cavaliers offer Mitchell the chance to be a Cornerstone player in the face of a franchise a role he might

Relish as he continues to evolve into one of the NBA’s Premier talents Mitchell could find Cleveland as an ideal environment to further Elevate his career and leave a lasting Legacy the Cavs can provide Mitchell with a competitive platform to contend for championships leveraging their resources to surround him with the necessary

Talent to compete at the highest level ultimately Mitchell’s decision to resign with the Cavs could stem from a combination of factors including their commitment to the development the opportunity for individual team success and the Allure of being a central figure in the individual team success

  1. My opinion is Mobley and Garland getting injured were blessings in disguise. In the beginning they stalled on contract talks which is where I think Dmitch had his eyes set on this seasons and we’ll see what happens. But the way our team transformed after our two young stars went down was the best thing that could’ve happened to us. I think we see Dmitch and be primary ball handler but also we found how to play team ball and win games we were the underdogs in and not only did we pull off upsets we went 19-4 in December knocking out top seeds in the east along the way. I think Dmitch is gonna resign with us because why wouldn’t he after posting career numbers and possibly en route to winning 60+ games. Our roster will only get better next offseason.

  2. Actually though…if you were a REAL cavs fan and were REALLY watching….this whole BALL MOVEMENT thing only happened when DONOVAN MITCHELL got injured…lol….funny how NOBODY keeps it real

  3. IF Donovan extends with the cavs, I think they would have to look into moving Darius garland. the way Isaac okoro continues to develop, he could easily slide in next to spida at SG and give the cavs a LETHAL starting five on defense. with jarret Allen's seemingly out of nowhere progression as an offensive threat, Darius seems to fit less than ever now. this in turn would open up more shots for Evan mobley, which needs to happen.
