Hey /r/torontoraptors fam!
Your humble moderation team have been considering looking for a bit more day- to-day help around here lately, and **we’re pleased to announce that we are welcoming one of the great mods from over in the** /r/nba **community to our moderation team here at** /r/torontoraptors.
/u/drecz **is from the GTA, is a Raptors fan first, and has been a big part of a bunch of the awesome community events that they’ve been running over in** /r/nba. Over the past year that they’ve been on the moderation team there they’ve helped make some awesome changes, and we’re really looking forward to what they can offer to our community here.
/u/drecz has helped organize a number of contests and community events that have been connected to not only a few teams, but some league-wide events, and even some meet and greets with NBA players. This is something that we really want to try to grow in our own community, and we’ve already been discussing a few exciting possibilities for the future.
Over the next few weeks and months you’ll start to see /u/drecz popping up around here more often, maybe even allowing /u/nanobot001 & i take a day off from the grind from time to time! Take a few mins and lets welcome /u/drecz to the community!

Hey u/drecz congrats on joining the mod squad. I have been on this sub in different accounts since we hit 10k subs in Aug 2015. I never had the time to contribute as a mod, but respect the amount of effort it takes to engage and run communities. Good luck!
