Moves at deadline, new front office moves, new head coach next season? Is that hope I’m feeling??

  2. LUUUUUUUUUUKEEE

I’ve been saying it’s a possibility since earlier this year but now I fully believe it may happen

    Budenholzer otw

  3. NotManyBuses

This was the name that always jumped out after reading the profile, how he had all this prior experience with the owners in Atlanta beforehand. I’m excited. Now let’s get us a real coach.

  4. I would be trilled if it was Langdon. I guess for Peterson, I’m intrigued. Let’s see how he does, some very important decisions ahead.

Great hire. We got younger all around. We kicked out all the old farts.

Just want it documented that I was the first to say that Jeff will get us to the ECF and we will remember this day.

  7. Assuming this is the President of Basketball Operations position… are they going to hire someone separately for General Manager instead of having a combined role again? There were a few reports that might be the plan and if so, some of the other rumored names might still be in play to work with Jeff Peterson.

have no idea who this guy it but i like us going young

  9. Former Nets fan. Guess I can’t completely escape them.

Exciting times. He’s got such an incredible base to work from. Rare for an organization to have such a complete reset from top to bottom in one year (sorry Steve, but probably).

Definitely saw this one coming, looking forward to what he can do to make this team competitive

No clue if he’s good but happy for fresh ideas. Hopefully his nets experience doesn’t make him gun shy of a big deal

  12. Not saying it can’t work, but boy does he sure seem to be a nepotism hire much like we’ve been facing for years.

Nets fan here. Jeff Peterson was highly regarded in our franchise as we tried our best to keep him. Jeff played a part in drafting high quality players without a single lottery pick i mean come on nic claxton, cam thomas, day’ron sharpe (one of the best back up big), noah clowney (another big with high potential) and jalen wilson who we drafted last year already seeming like a high quality nba vet wing who’s only 23 years old. y’all got a good one.

    Welcome to Charlotte, Jeff.

I’m excited to see what Jeff Peterson’s vision is, and I’m excited about it taking shape.

    New ownership✅

    Top 5-2024 Draft Pick

I like this move. Anything we can do to get our program on a 21st century track would be great!

  16. SponsoredHornersFan

honestly i’m pretty shocked he got selected for President, I thought for sure he would get promoted to GM and we’d snag Langdon and he’d be President of Basketball Ops

  17. Captain_Charisma

Looks like tampering is back on the menu boys!

  18. i hope he can do more for miller and melo then the hawks did for trae

  19. chiefboldface

Lawd. We’ve done a lot of moves. Please lawd. Get us there.

  20. SportsNAnime

GET EVERYBODY ON STAFF OUTTA HERE MR. PETERSON PLEASE

  21. jumpmanj2395

Kinda confusing how the Hornets do this, technically Mitch is Head of Basketball Operations/GM so I would assume he will also be GM?

  22. Raptorpicklezz

Any relation to Buzz Peterson? Another nepo hire?

  23. turdmcburgular

We deserve nice things, please be nice things.

  24. unfamiliarjoe

Now we move Cliff to a consultant role and bring in Mike B.

  25. Panther_Pilot

Here’s hoping this is a great hire. Please now permanently separate the Hornets and Steve Clifford.
