This is just not true.. are you really considering southbend part of the surrounding area of indy? Or fort wayne? There’s roughly 7 from actual indy area. That being said chicago and Atlanta both have more players in the area than indy even if you include all 14 from the state of Indiana.

Interesting but their geographical methodology is pretty trash, as others have pointed out.
It is fun to see which players are from a general area but grouping together places like Cincinnati (where I live) and Columbus, which have very little in common in terms of who we root for in college and professional sports, is weird.
