The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Atlanta Hawks, 124-97. Cameron Johnson recorded a season-high 29 points and 7 3PM for the Nets, with Dennis Schroder adding 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in the victory. Dejounte Murray tallied 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists for the Hawks. The Nets improve to 23-36, while the Hawks fall to 26-33.

    This is a very bad loss. I really don’t get it at all, not one bit. The 2 games before this you put a ton of effort especially on the defensive side, played out of your minds and you saw the results of those games, and this game the hawks just decide to throw all of that effort out of the window. Brooklyn couldn’t miss from three as they hit 22 THREES which is frustrating because they didn’t shoot like this against any other team, it had to be us to deal with their shooting. Overall though the defense we played was more like the whole season outside of the last 2 games. We also heavily struggled shooting the basketball as well. I know this hawks team isn’t great, we have accepted that, but they are capable of playing well if they just put in the effort each and every night. I saw so many lazy plays defensively that i didn’t see the previous 2 games. Rematch on saturday and i really hope this team can play much better than they did today, this was a very bad loss today, need to find a way to split this mini 2 game series at the very least. #TrueToAtlanta

    Brooklyn is not going to wind up winning enough games to make the play-in tournament. This is a game the Hawks had to win and they played like shit tonight. They didn't show up. Hawk fans should feel really disappointed by the Hawk's performance, because they took the Brooklyn Nets for granted, assuming it would be an easy win, and instead they got embarrassed by Brooklyn. Awful performance from the Hawks.

    this the type of games cam johnson needs to put with the contract hes got, efficient shooting and aggressive to the rim
