OMax with Kyrie’s handles has never even crossed my mind, but now it’s stoking the imagination

My hope is that we don’t trade OMax, because I feel like he really will be exactly what we need down the line. He’s not on our timeline right now, but we should develop him and give him time imo.

I can just imagine a conversation when OMax is guarding Luka
Luka: “Ok, now when I do this, you do this. I’m still going to score because I’m him, but this should work on everybody else”
On a real note good on Kyrie, man. Definitely has beaten the “toxic teammate” allegations.
I’ve been saying it for awhile now, but I think OMax is going to be the starting SF on this team next year. His defense and motor are too high not to do so if he can hit his shots.

With how young our team is, it’s really nice to read those words from Kai about being a leader and helping them grow. Veteran leadership like that is something we’ve sorely been missing in the Luka era.

People in this sub swore up and down Kai was going to be a bad teammate and toxic…wish I could’ve bookmarked all the people that were talking down so bad on this man

I’m really excited for Prosper next year and beyond. I’m happy he’s getting good time in G league. He will get more time to play here as time goes on, because we need his skill set.

That’s a recipe for an O-Max contract in the future if he ever gets offense. Getting to learn defense and wanting to learn on Kyrie Irving will pay dividends for the youngsters. I wonder if Jaden’s getting some of the same.

OMax has lots of potential. Looking forward to seeing him prosper.

Omax has to get a bigger role next season. Djj will be gone i think. Thats omax spot.

I’ve been saying it since he got here, I welcome Kyrie with open arms. Dallas feels like a better fit for him (given the smallest amount I know). Media cares so much less down here as do a lot of the people. Not remotely the same environment. Always will be those that dissent and don’t but it’s more mellow here from my observation.

>When Prosper practises with the Mavericks, he relishes the opportunity to guard superstar teammate Luka Doncic, who led the NBA with 34.3 points per game before Wednesday night’s triple-double.
>“I tell you, 75 per cent of the time I’m guarding him. I want the matchup, and the coaches know I want that matchup,” said Prosper, who also has a locker right next to Doncic.
>“I will become an elite defender in this league — I know I will — and the best way to do that is to guard arguably the best scorer in the NBA. It’s not easy, but that’s the challenge I want.”
This part had me the most hyped. Getting those type of reps on Luka is going to accelerate his defensive saavyiness and foul discipline. Its not going to be fair for teams.
