Dennis obviously going in tonight you guys had a a sense of urgency knowing that these two games are going to be really important did that just fuel the energy coming out with you guys hitting first like KO keeps talking about yeah for sure I mean um they’re right in

Front of us you know we playing uh two times in a row so uh we understood before the game that we you know got to have like a hit first mentality and um yeah we did a great job of it today cam Johnson just mentioned you getting

Comfortable and you know I heard you on the William Lou Raptor Show podcast the other day talking about playing under Kevin Ali and how you respect a former player like that how much of tonight’s performance was you being comfortable and how much of it was you just playing with that extra

Effort um I mean coach doing a great job just um giving people confidence letting people play cuz I mean he understands the game you know he uh been around for 12 13 years in the league himself so um and then my teammates they make it easy

As well you know uh the transition was easier for me and um yeah just getting comfortable get to know these guys and um being fully like comfortable doing my stuff how I play and uh try to you know adjust it uh to to to the team um so we

Get some wins uh it’s very important and um uh it gets there it’s or it’s getting there there so um yeah Dennis I know you’ve only you’ve been around you know cam j a little bit you obviously play in the World Cup you’ve seen his career but just what

What kind of a professional is he when someone who has to go to the bench takes that role comes back to the starting lineup and plays the way he does tonight what does that say about just him being a professional cam cam Johnson yeah uh

Yeah hell of a player I mean I remember when we played uh my first year with the Lakers when we played him in the first round um and uh I mean just following uh the Phoenix Sons then and uh you know coming to Brooklyn um followed him as

Well and Mel Bridges and uh both of them you know really great High character guys um who works a lot every single day um really professional uh in what they do and I mean coming off the bench and you know uh then somebody get hurt and

Then he get to the starting lineup and to perform like that says it all you you know and um really proud of him and uh luckily to have him and we want to you know keep going like that what did you think when uh Dron sharp hit those two

Threes obviously you’re still getting used to him but just seeing a guy who doesn’t take threes like that hit two in a row like what did you think I mean he made two in a row so uh I can’t I can’t say nothing about that I

Mean he working on it um in practice so uh luckily he made those um and uh of course like I said everybody you know just being confident in the locker room um getting to know each other me getting to know everybody and um trusting each

Other you know and uh for him I think a couple of months ago he wouldn’t take that shot you know and um so he working on his stuff and uh we trust him in the decisions he he does or he do and um we just go with

It hey Dennis it it feels like the extra pass was always there for you guys tonight that’s how you connected on lot of those threes whether it was out of the out of the high post or or like Baseline to the opposite corner was that a point of emphasis on Scout this week

When you were uh teeing up the Hawks not really I mean we always want to um you know um have quality shots um good to great we always say and um we had a couple of those uh tonight and um I think when we do that and we moving

The ball and uh the ball is not sticking um it’s really hard to guard us and um we just got to keep playing fast I think we did a great job of playing fast and transition um everybody’s running with me and June um did a great job pushing it so um yeah I

Think we live got to live in in in transition um and of course mostly important I think is uh the defensive end getting stops you know being disruptive and um play off that staying on the staying on the topic of offense you guys you know against

Orlando obviously it was a season low in points for the team you guys had more turnovers than assists then you come in tonight 30 assists 223s were there any particular points of emphasis from the coaching staff just offensively entering tonight’s game he had couple of plays he won a

Two1 against Atlanta um we had him today in the morning at shootaround uh talked about him and uh we perfectly I think executed them tonight and um yeah in Orlando it wasn’t a good game we didn’t make uh shots early and um we sto playing defense and that’s what I’m saying when

We you know don’t make our shots we just got to keep the same energy on the defensive end and um I think when we do that we really really tough to beat and um but uh yeah tonight uh I mean it was a great job from everybody just moving

The ball making shots being confident and um trust in one another
