Because the Lakers were down by 21 in the fourth quarter to a team that desperately wants to be in the same conversation as and a rival of the Lakers. Also, LeBron is 39.
Not taking anything away from AD as he was excellent last night. I’m merely answering the question in the thread title.
Longjumping_Print478
AD needs recognition for this season for sure, if he was injured it’ll be the topic of conversations all over!
LongTimesGoodTimes
Because the LeBron game was crazier and against a better team
Similar_Reach_7288
The Wizards didn’t play a center, the closest thing they had was Bagley.
ConsiderationMean358
Because they both are forced to contribute so much on a nightly basis I lose track

You really think this is equivalent to the clippers 4th quarter? Really?

Because the worst team in the league took them to OT lmao

Against this team he should have had 60.

This can’t be a serious question lol

Because he supposed to be doing this I mean he is 30 years old and right in his prime.

AD deserves his recognition. So does LeBron. We have the best duo in the league and y’all complaining?
qualityskootchtime
Cuz it’s the vs the 9 W Wiz
Showtime562
No shade towards AD, but it’s kinda expected. Having to go to OT against the 9 win wiz on a 12 game losing streak with no center on your home floor is bananas.
Top-Consequence-911
Because there is no comparison and everyone knows it. Wizards are the worst team in the league.
Vegasguy3124
AD is making up for lost time. Le40 isn’t.

Lakers looking better. Defense in the 4th quarter was sick. LeBron is hot. Hope he can be this hot post-season.

Bc it’s not Lebron
Hour_Insurance_7795
Dude, I get your point (AD needs more love, no doubt), but that performance by Lebron the other night was one for the ages. That was a legendary thing to witness. It wasn’t the stats he put up as much as he took the fucking team on his back and completely righted the ship *in 12 minutes* to come back and beat our championship-level rival. All while being covered by a fellow future HOF and defensive stalwart. It was magical, quite frankly.
AD played great, yes….but we were playing a team that is generally considered one of the worst teams in modern NBA single season history who had lost 12 in a row coming in. And who does the Wiz have down low to counter AD if he’s playing hard? Nobody. You can’t really compare the two scenarios, my man.

People were asking it on Opingo too, that’s natural, that’s a part of social media, a part of it, is yours, the other is theirs, and it doesn’t mean LeBron isn’t a good player or overrated, just bad luck for others
LivePerformancem340i
because that’s what he should be doing

AD is my favorite player, but the fourth quarter is simply valued more. AD had 36 going into the 4th last night and finished with 40. That’s not to knock the crazy defense he plays all game every game but out scoring the other team on your own in the 4th and bringing your team back from a 21 point deficit is crazy.
AsJoeSeesIt
Wizards have given up massive scoring games to centers all year. Embiid put up like 50 on them. They have literally zero interior defense.
dirty2the3rd
1 in 82 odds when teams down 21 in the 4th quarter comeback and win. Think about that…
Mr310
JJ Reddick had it right the other night when the ESPN game announcer was trying to call him out. Something to the effect of “why can’t he do it every night?” – he’s averaging 25 + 12, what else do we want from him?
Longjumping_Print478
Nobodies comparing the 2 just would like acknowledgement of everything great that happens every night whether we were playing the best or the worst, rather its lebron or woods… i mean this is a laker sub right?
