[Grange] “There just needs to be a general rule: no bullshit allowed” — Steve Kerr on need to bring some defensive balance to the NBA. Says it starts with refs not enabling offensive players manipulating calls. “Some of this stuff … if you tried it in a pick up game you’d start a fight.”

  1. He’s right. Well idk about the fighting in a pick up game. But it’s up to the refs.

Players are going to toe the line no matter what. Refs job is the set in stone what that line is.

The argument could be made that the NBA is trying to capitalize on Curry’s dynamic, decade-long offensive dominance that has put butts in seats in every arena.

He’s gonna get ejected in the first 5 min, isn’t he?

But seriously, I’m glad it’s being addressed more bluntly without fear of repercussions. Everybody used to be so afraid to do it, but the officiating has just gotten THAT egregious.

We should start a fight with you for the way you handled Kuminga in the Lakers series last year. He could have helped a lot.

  5. Man.. If I gotta see Shai’s head jerk back like he caught a right hook from prime Mike Tyson one more time I’m gonna lose it

  6. It really doesn’t feel hard either. You can tell the flopping and foul baiting shit. Not calling that stuff can cut out like 50% of some of the calls we see. That improves the pace and flow of the game so much. There doesn’t need to be some correction that fixes everything. Just don’t call the bullshit.

Kuminga doesn’t even do this stuff. Even CP3 has only gotten a few rip-throughs off this season. Ethical scoring only in the Bay, for some reason

Kobe’s 81 could’ve easily been 100 if it happened today
