The Bucks defense has improved tremendously. Doc Rivers deserves a lot of credit for how well they've improved on defense. I'm not worried about the Bucks in the regular season, but I am worried about them in the postseason and Doc Rivers blowing a 3-1 lead.

Lopez's respectable shooting from deep beyond the top of the key is direct evidence of a guy who just kept working on his game to stay effective as he got old. Back in his early days–around the time of the Heatles and the emergence of Kawhi–he was a classic back to the basket scorer who defended the rim bud didn't play hard at all. Putting up 20 on mediocre or worse Nets teams, but averaging like 3.6 rebounds. I'd look at that number and look at his height and know instantly he was one of those guys who didn't like to bang elbows but will pin you to the glass (read: Jaren Jackson Jr). Fast forward and he's a legit deep threat–streaky, but you can't just leave him there, so the big has a problem all game–and he's arguably the best help defender in the NBA (arguably: JJJ, Giannis, Embiid, healthy Adebayo). Still a sub rebounder, but Giannis and Portis have it.
