If the pelicans can make the playoffs this season, these are realistically the only 4 teams we’d be playing against first round. I Don’t see this top 4 slipping at all. So who do would the pels matchup best against first round?
I honestly think I’d rather have the Clippers out of any of those but I don’t think any of them will be particularly advantageous matchups.

I can see the clippers falling, we could realistically take the fourth from them, especially as we have an easier schedule, and both Westbrook and Pg are injured
But out of those 4 the only one I wouldn’t wanna play is the nuggets, the wolves for some reason can’t guard Zion (or don’t want to), the clippers BI has historically played great against and we’ve had their number for years no matter whose playing and okc are young and in the playoffs shai won’t get his standard 50 free throws a game and guys like Chet I think will struggle with the physicality that’s allowed

Clippers have the 6th hardest remaining schedule in the league and Westbrook just fractured his hand which hurts their bench a lot. Not to mention they are old.
3.5 games is nothing. We’re basically the same distance from the Play-in as we are from home court advantage while controlling our own destiny. Standings are so close this season could play out in an infinite number of ways.
But to answer your question – Clippers, Twolves, Thunder, and then Nuggets. Jokic/Murray scare me more than any team in the West.

I do not think the T Wolves want to see us in round 1 based off of recent matchups

Honestly I just want to get out of the playin and let the chips fall where they may. I think it is much more important to get the week of rest than worry about matchups.
