Devin Vassell has been trending up of late. This is extremely promising news for the Spurs who are currently looking for reliable supporting pieces to their face of the franchise.

  2. Trust The Process… PATFO believe in these guys we should to. It’s paying off!

  3. Aside from Vic, Devin’s development would be huge for us to have a success in the future.

  4. Defense been way better I think too, at least getting more stocks. His rim finishing I think has been his biggest improvement outside maybe playmaking. Dudes really polishing his game right now. Developed a bag and now is complementing his game as well as victors. He didn’t play much last year but holy he hit the weight room. I said it day 1 this season but he looks as built as keldon from the pictures and I think his progression in his finishing is highly contributed to that. Lastly his passing is really coming along, of course still learning to pass to Vic and I think he still has lazy passes but he’s seeing and understanding the whole court a lot better now

I’ve been so focused on Vassells passes to Wemby that I didn’t realize how well he was passing in general. Very encouraging. That shooting slump seems like ages ago.

Its getting to the point where his game reminds me more of kobes than anyone else in the league

Devin had been looking great but what’s been going on with kj?

One of the things that’s impressed me is the amount of blocks he’s been getting as of late. It feels like he gets a chasedown at least once a game. I was really excited before the season about how Vic would allow him to take more risks on defense, and we’ve definitely seen flashes of them meshing super well on that end.

Offensively he could still get more consistent but I’m glad he’s really picked up his level of play on defense

Yup. This is kinda season 3.5 for him coz he missed so much time last year. He will always have duds coz he’s a pro scorer but he’s far more consistent and clearly gets driven for big/tv games. I think he’s still best as a third option coz his game will have even more to unlock with a dynamic shooting/scoring PG like Trae Young, Rob Dillingham, etc.

If we can put a wing near him that can shoot and defend too, Devin will improve even more
