It got 0 upvotes I think it’s good policy to not amplify dumb people that no one agrees with 🙂

No timeouts for family. I would make my son play through the applause to build character too

  3. the_hammer_poo

He’s been giving so much respect to Lebron! It’s a huge achievement, but we came to fucking win. Burn your own timeout

  4. And why can’t Lebron’s own coach call a time out? Goofy AF.

  5. Appropriate-Goose231

Yeah lakers should’ve intentionally fouled if they wanted play to stop. Otherwise who cares let’s get this W.

  6. Kitchen-Ad-5571

because he knows the whole thing is stupid.

  7. NuggsBurgh

I hate to break it to this guy, but the Lakers are in fact not the center of the universe. We don’t care about their mid team, but they sure seem to get off on the idea we do

Coach Malone: “This milestone is just an artifact of our society using the base 10 numerical system and has no significance in and of itself. Play on.”

  9. TheShadowOverBayside

I can’t believe the punk bitch entitlement… This guy really thinks Malone “owes” them a celebratory timeout, after LeBron disrespectfully tried to steal the Nuggets’ thunder last year after the end of the WCF (“I’m retiring, waaahh, this is all about me, make all the headlines about that instead of the Nuggets going to their first Finals”). Malone doesn’t owe them shit. The Lakers actually owed **him** one, and damn right he did what he had to do.

I know this is the question we’re all thinking, but I’m going to ask it anyway. Why the hell would you expect _the opposing coach_ to call timeout when _your guy_ breaks a record?

  11. ThePunditsPundit

Lakers fans fawning over the absolute most insufferable narcissistic personality in NBA history…

  12. Nintendomandan

It’s disrespectful they don’t call a timeout everytime he scores tbh, he’s constantly breaking the record and it’s like no cares!!!

  13. Koterbear6

Upvote this so we can show how much the lakers are wieners

  14. I love that Lakers fans live to remind me why I hate them and their team

  15. BustyRutthole

It’s not timeout worthy. Fans are grasping. Every point LeBron scored in the last year set a new record. If they need to hype 40k for ratings that’s a media thing not a basketball history thing.

  16. porkadachop

    They’ve started calling Hamm, “Hamas.”

  17. Wide_Wall3248

Best player in the league HAHA. This is 2024, not 2015.

  18. Hallenhero

“Best player in the league” lol
LeBitch hasn’t been the best player in the better part of a decade

Oh here was another post in r/nba after the game:

    Let’s Talk about Jokic
The world would be a better place without Nikola
Jokic. I ran into the dude at Nuggets training
camp in 2022 and the dude is an utter POS. It’s
unfortunate that people who make it big in life
oftentimes forget where they came from, which
was 1000% the case in my interaction with him.
Even besides that, this dude’s whole ordeal of “I
don’t like basketball” and “‘m just here so I don’t
get fined” got annoying way too fast.
