  1. We wouldn’t get any value out of him unless a team is willing to overpay. Likely will be on the team until he’s an expiring with his contract size

  2. Ayton’s production is about the same as Nurkic at a higher price tag. With Ayton’s contract he has under performed. But this is what I expected. He shows flashes of being a top 5 center then disappears.

The Ayton hate has to be the laziest, most embarrassing “watch the games” journalism I’ve ever seen.

This dude single handedly turns us into a competent defense when he plays and completely broken when he doesn’t

Honestly, DeAndre reminds me of Bill Walton. If DeAndre were playing in 1976, he’d be a superstar.

But that’s why I want the Trailblazers to hire Lionel Hollins as our next coach. All Lionel has to do is run his coach’s (Jack Ramsay) offense, and Ayton will dominate.

Garbage article. Obvious everyone not named Scoot, Shaedon, or Toumani are expendable for the right price, but Ayton is probably going to be back.

Constantly being injured is the main issue with Ayton. We knew what kind of player he was and he’s performed well for the most part, when healthy.

  7. dyinginmaze

Might be a hot take, but Ayton is good at basketball.

Is the author even a real person? There’s been articles where the author turned out to be an ai image lol

Is there a link for this? I wrote a similar article which was published Friday and I want to see if they ripped it from mine.

  10. Wasn’t a huge fan of Ayton until I saw his play repeatedly on the blazers— I’ve been changed. He and RW3 would have made one of the nastiest center rotations in the league if Robert had stayed healthy.

Personally, I had really low expectations when I heard the news.

I can honestly say Ayton has exceeded my expectations.

I mean, it’d be amazing if he had Kobe’s work ethic, but the guy has done fairly well.

Ayton flamed out on the suns for a reason, he was playing with two hall of fame players and couldn’t stand that the focus wasn’t on him.

He’s delusional “im a max player, and will continue to be”, overpaid (33 mil a year for 14 ppg), doesn’t make anyone better (1.4 apg) and doesn’t protect the rim (his physical attributes and doesn’t even average a block per game is pathetic)

I think the blazers would love to trade him, but I think he’s basically untradable with that contract, attitude and sub par production.

Bad beginning and a promising end. 14 and 10 on an abysmal team. Meh, that’s pretty good to anyone that actually watches basketball.
