So this is how the last of the little men go out?
I thought that thing flying in the background was his show for a second
Am I the only one seeing that the injury happen when he landed? I really don't think it was on the way up.
2nd round pick for a reason
Thinidou is a good coach but a bad person…you took this long for time out and your overplaying your guys EVERY GAME, come on bro…4 out of 5 starters are injured 😤😤😤
If this game was the Garden, it would of sucked the Air out of the whole Arena 🤞🤞🤞
Thibs got his starters in the er smh… regular season coach
I usually don’t comment… referee… stop the f@&&ing game! Damn it! The man is hurt, stop the game!
Non contact injury to a player under Thibs. Not a good sign. Hopefully, it's not severe.
because they fishing for foul and flopping instead of playing basketball so their form are awkward and injury prone
Knicks are done now. No one gives a crap about Julian Randle being out, but with Brunson out the Knicks have no chance.
THIS INJURY REMINDS ME OF DROSE! and the coach also is Coach Teb
maybe anterior cruciate ligament rupture
Hope not… but that does look like an ACL Injury… Hope not..
Next man up shake Milton
no contract for now
0:36 was not looking good. Like his lower leg flopping around looks like an ACL tear, if I were to guess.
Knicks season 🌊 is over 🚬😶🌫️🥃🍺🃏
Can his teammates fucking help him? The game paused like 20 seconds ago and NONE of you are helping him up
Damn!! Brunson was ballin’ 😢 this looks pretty serious
Stooooooooppp! For Pete’s sake, please stop walking on that broken hockey stick! 🏒
🤢
LOL didnt watch this game but looking at these comments have me in stitches now that its come out that he has a bruise. Ladies and gents, welcome to the softest era of athletes ever witnessed.
Non-contact injuries are the scariest
I am not sure what the players were thinking, if you see your guy on the floor, toss the ball outside.
josh hart😂
This is over for thr knicks.
Bye bye career…he's too chubby anyway.
I HATE THIBS.
Bruised knee.
Thibs is so thick , he turns around and plays McBride 47 minutes. He is dense. He ruined Derrick Rose. Racehorses are treated with more humanity. Josh Hart was exhausted last night and it might look good on paper but all that pounding on his joints and ligaments for 48 minutes will render him useless at playoff time, when other players have had their minutes properly managed.
This is very likely nerve damage. Hence why he can’t put his foot down properly. It’s not an Achilles or ACL. It’s like when someone hits your funny bone, except worse.
I'm gonna say this as a die hard Knicks fans
who has been following this team for 25 years:
I agree with Thibs and the team waiting to call a timeout/foul. Anyone who's played sports/basketball know you keep playing until the whistle no matter the circumstances.
Look at the context: This is the first minute of the game. Using a timeout now against the surging Cavs would make things difficult down the stretch when Knicks need every win right now to stay at the top of the east. Waiting a few seconds to see if Brunson could get back up won't change the injury.
Now people are questioning why the Knicks didn't foul…Brunson has had nagging ankle issues since January, so Brunson will get off when he can, he and the team knows this. In fact, the team likely talked about this exact scenario…when I player basketball my HS team had the same philosophy.
Regardless, the Knicks turned the ball over and the stole it right back. No chance to foul the cavs anyway.
Fans may notice that right when Brunson went down, Hart immediately came over to protect his teammate. Dante also rotated over so he could be near Brunson, likely asking him what's going on. so everyone saying the Knicks don't care…also watch Thibs.
Thibs threw his arms up at the ref looking for the foul for Brunson before Brunson hopped away and thibs is caught ball watching because the actikn is right in front of him and Knicks are the middle of turning the ball over. Cavs stole it and didn't really establish possession to call a foul and the Knicks stole it right back. His eyes weren't looking anywhere near Brunson – until they turned the ball over and he saw Brunson still down.
The rules state the refs can call a stoppage after a made or missed basket. So, if the Knicks made a basket, the refs would have stopped the play there and allowed Brunson to get off without using a timeout.
Thibs called the timeout when Knicks reeatalbished possession
If you wanna get mad at someone, get mad at the refs. The refs are the only people who can stop things midplay, especially while opposing team has possession. If they see a player down they should call an injury timeout since it is their job to make sure players don't get hurt.
People who are getting mad need to watch the action with the ball – it was impossible to get it right.
Karma for travelling
I know how that felt… Your body goes up but your legs stays down, as if someone grab and hold your leg while you're jumping… then "POP" and you're down & out
I thought i would need surgery to just be able to walk…. it took me 6 months for me to be able to run, and even then i can't run as fast nor jump as high as before
But im glad i'm still be able to walk and jog
non contact injuries are always the scariest, paying for Brunson 🙏
You’d think that if you saw your ankle roll or you cannot feel your left-foot plant
You would begin to immediately stop putting weight on it while standing – especially if you were a professional athlete who is concerned of an injury
1:03 – Watch at 0.25x speed and observe how Brunson keeps his eye on the airball, then his reaction is to proceed with a (no contact) injury
It had to be from his jump or it was a flop to compensate for an airball
What do you think?
Ass organization
PLAYOFFS DONE…
That look like acl injury, derrick rose has similar when he got injured
