You have to have that confidence in yourself to reach the level both Kobe and MJ reached. He didn’t come in and say I’m better than MJ and not work for it. He believed in himself and put in all the work to show it.
Given the effort and work ethic and belief in himself I feel Kobe was better than MJ.

Kobe’s skill level was probably better than MJ’s. But MJ’s athleticism and hands allowed him to do things Kobe never could have done.

I fully fucking believe it too 🐐

Nah, Kobe was all ball all the time. MJ was a golfer, a gambler, cigar smoker, etc and still had the entire league in a chokehold. Kobe is my favorite player ever but MJ was just Him.

I want people to really look at the skill level of players in the 80s and early 90s nobody had a left everybody was a set shooter only a few real ball handlers Kobe skills was miles ahead of Jordan because the game advanced from 1984-1996 and even more from 1996-2016 I fell like the debate about who had the best career is going to Jordan every time but when we talk about skill I can’t name another player maybe outside Kyrie Irving who had a more complete skill set or offensive game than Kobe
