You guys have talked about the next man up mentality can you just talk about what you saw from the group tonight um I think you got a shout out to SM BR first and foremost um you know something you know you never want to see somebody go

Down like that and it’s unexpected um so when that happens in the first 45 seconds of the game um mentally you have to be ready to go and I think you know he did an amazing job tonight and everybody else just collectively played within our system and within ourselves

And you know it was a really good game about the effort and and the triple double that Josh gave you tonight yeah I mean he’s been doing that all year um I think he had like 19 rebounds or something tonight it’s ridiculous um so it’s just a credit to him his work ethic

And just always staying ready no matter what goes out do does do you take it upon yourself now that pick up the scoring load no not necessarily um you know everybody in the in the flow of the offense was just moving the ball and um just being aggressive honestly just

Being my normal self being aggressive him um just trying to you know at the end of the game um D hit a really big shot um but I just didn’t want to force anything at the end just try to you know trust the pass get a good shot and um

You know I had really really good shooting the corner and you know he knocked it down the seal the game gu do show a lot of paines not to show pain you see him go down get up kind reaction um I said I asked him if he was

Okay um and he said I’ll be fine um and you know that’s everything me uh like I said the last time he went down I I don’t worry about Jaylen he’s you know he’s one of the toughest guys in the league um so whatever it is um I truly

Can’t even say I don’t even know um so whatever it is I know he’s going to bounce back really quick and be ready to go he’s tough as Nails um literally just when I got in he was like a game and that was it um I haven’t talked to him about anything

Else in the context of like you strugg the last games to leave here with a win play wellbody how important is it just just to get a win it’s huge I mean you look at you know you look at it we’re down four starters um you know they’re down

One starter you just look at the matchups and um but the thing about us is we’re you know we’re gritty um we’re collectively together um and everybody wants you know each other to succeed I don’t think there’s one guy that wants to go out there and outshine anybody and

I think that you know tonight was a you know perfect game to see that it was very balanced everybody was getting shots everybody was getting stops um so that was our that’s our only goal just to win games um doesn’t matter how we do

It as long as we you know scrap out a win we move forward and mind J young legs that’s it is no um it’s it’s really difficult especially having a match up with Darius Carlin um you have to tip your hat to him for you know

Being ready to be locked in um play the entire game um but you know that’s that’s kind of who Deuce is um all season long whether his numbers called or not he’s you know one of the hardest workers on the team so um it doesn’t surprise me that he was perfectly you

Know himself tonight um but you have to tip your hat to it because it’s really hard to do at one point it was just you and Sam ml going back and forth there I mean what can you say about his game as a fellow Sharpshooter um yeah I mean I

Roster um top to bottom and obviously it makes it a little bit more difficult um especially you know from the coach staff you’re changing game plans you’re changing plays and everything like that but um you know everybody has confidence in Deuce coming in and everybody has confidence within each other to get the

Right shot and get good shots every possession
