Orlando Magic rookie Jett Howard dropped 17 points in last nights win. In his best defensive outing of the season the 2023 11th overall pick intercepted a team-high 4 steals while adding a block. He managed to haul in 6 boards and knock-down a pair of threes as well

Jett will be a good Gary Harris replacement next year
This is the defensive improvement Coach wanted to see.
Jett defense is improving if he stays consistent he’ll start getting PT whether it’s in blowout situations or injury replacement bench minutes .
The 3s are nice, but it’s those 4 steals that are gonna get Jett some playing time
Happy to see it and glad the team is letting him grow this way. Some people gotta remember how long it took even someone like JJ Redick to get consistent minutes. Getting that defense up is the most consistent way to get pt.
