Kidd sucks. He went small and they made a rum we couldn't come back.
Yes,we can pinpoint to this and that but if Celtics make 20 threes on 50% and you dont even make 10,its over regardless.
Overall,if in next 10 games Mavs will play like in last 10,we will be good
Kidd’s inability to make adjustments in the 2nd half was a big reason the Mavs didn’t have a chance to win. Why Kidd stuck with “small ball” lineup and why did Lively/Gafford ride the bench in the last quarter and half???
Whoever GS's defensive coach is, we need to hire him. I watched GS last night, and they defend the 3 very well.

I honestly don’t understand what Kidd has ever done in his coaching career to constantly get the benefit of the doubt or ever have anyone defend him.
Stop telling me Kidd isn’t fucking with Gafford just like he’s done many other players, when he keeps running Maxi and THJ out there. The entire point of getting Gafford was so Maxi didn’t have to do exactly what Kidd is doing.
This franchise absolutely can’t move forward with Kidd as coach. Now watch Luka go nuts in the playoffs to somehow justify bringing Kidd back.
Trust me on this..We are getting close to Dwight Powell getting Gafford minutes.The pattern is there..Its getting scary😢

Going small ball when the team has momentum without either PJ or DJJ is a sackable offense. Kidd ruined any chance to make it close in the 3rd. Lively and Luka were cooking, so what does Kidd do? Take away the pick and roll making the offense worse, play small ball with an off Kyrie and Exum and no Lively or Gafford to help Kyrie. Genius tactics coach Kidd.
This was the posterchild of a coach being too cute and destroying the chances of a team getting into a groove. Cuban should tell Kidd that he must stop having favorites and players he freezes out. Is Gafford the latest big man Kidd will force out? Nico must be so low in the hierarchy that he has to continously watch his moves being actively snubbed by the smartest man in the room. Nico is like the step child living in the shadow of Kidd and Cuban is too fond of his 2011 players, to put any pressure on one of his favourites.
I disagree that this game wasn't winnable. It got out of hand because of the small ball lineup not working. The Celtics couldn't stop Luka and Lively. Why go away from the pick and roll? Even if it wasn't a winnable game, it sure as hell wasn't this lopsided. Luka Lively was keeping pace. We kept it close for a while without Kyrie playing well. That's a plus going forward that we can rely on our bigs more than we have.
THJ made some terroble moves on defence, also tried to me kyrie andndo a drinble move and lost the handle. He should only cone out when we need to shoot ourselves back into a game or when someone reslly needs a rest otherwise he shouldnt be a staple rotstion plauer right now.

I saw Gafford switch onto Tatum twice and 1 time he blocked him and the other he forced a pass and Lively switched onto Holiday and blocked him, why does Kidd think they aren’t capable of switching?
Kirk and Josh, you mentioned how small this team is at the 3. I’ve been harping for omax to get more minutes. With pjs and omaxs ability to handle a little bit I honestly believe it will work. Luka (or Kyrie) at the 1, Josh at the 2, pj at the 3, omax at 4 and gafford or lively at the 5

I believe we traded for gafford for Every team in the west.. we are losing to stretch bigs which are in the east.. We are good… Just gotta figure the stretch big thing out by time we get to the finals to play a east team
I agree with Josh and fans here about the sentiment on Kidd’s inability to effectively use his bigs. Why trade for the guy when you don’t know how to leverage him only to give him the quick hook. Josh/Kirk threw out Maxi is avg 27 mins per in Feb which is insane for a small ball center that was clearly ineffective.
Should’ve put Lively back in. The mins with Luka Ky THJ Exum n Maxi was coaching ineptitude. I think that lineup played when Horford n Tillman were in the gm.
I think we are headed for playin with 3 remaining gms vs GSW.
Fan123 mentioned DFS and I agree we need someone like him. Imagine having PJ at the 3 n DFS to 4 to match long teams like Celtics. DFS was a solid 3pt shooter w Luka.
At this stage maybe you go sign Morris who can defend n used to be a decent 3pt threat just to give you options over the Maxi THJ small ball.
