I know Giddey is a controversial topic and I’m pretty in the middle on him but thought this was interesting. We all know is scoring isn’t elite but this is pretty bad company to be in. Personally if he can hit open 3s at a decent clip and facilitate as a ball handler I’m satisfied but I have no expectations of him being more than a role player.

When I saw that Russell Westbrook and Jordan Clarkson are on here it made me realize that the true shooting isn’t really the end-all be-all. The play style and other stat categories are why they’re all still starters. They help the team enough in different ways to negate the poor shooting performances
I’m still so surprised Vuc is on there
Paolo being so high is shocking
This would be shocking if you only watched Sochans last game against us.
At least he’s expendable while players like Green, Scoot and Paolo are supposed to volume contributors to their teams
And people want him to get primary ball handler reps in the year 2024
This is going to bring out the goblins that only comment on this beautiful subreddit negative shit about Giddey. Giddey is a JAG player but the goblins that hate him have pessimism issues.
You know these losers will comment because their brain NEEDS confrontation
That’s some pretty good company to be in tbh!
I can let inefficient scoring pass so long as it’s made up for by rebounds.
Giddey, I think averages 7 rebounds a game. Not sure I’d call that a make up for the scoring. I think Rodman, was like this couldn’t score for shit, but absolute monster of rebounding with 20 (I think) a game.
However people are making it like he shoots a ton. This is the exact same situation with Dort last year. The changing of your role on a team can take awhile to get used too. First is to see how the team wants to use you as the Thunder have not put him in a good situation yet as they themselves are seeing how this team developed. Majority of this is done in the off season were you watch film see what you did bad and good, than make changes to how you play. Than you work on those things during the off season. How the Thunder plan on using him forward is going to be the biggest question going forward.
Not half (as) bad
Jalen Green was hyped high. I don’t follow the Rockets like that but he feels almost like a G-H-O-S-T
