This team won’t get past the 1st round at this rate. They need to fix a lot of stuff. Wtf happened to us after All star break. Fucking missed free throws and lazy passes.

Sluggish performance all around, harden played great but got barely any shots in the 4th, frustrating to watch
These small ball lineups when everyone is ice cold continue to be our downfall.

Ty loves to stick with lineups that don’t work. PG with 5 fouls trying to guard Bobby in the post was not it.
This is on Ty. Horrible play calling after time outs. Didnt play Mann or Zu all 4th qtr. Small ball wasn’t working and Mil stayed big with Lopez and Bobby especially on a b2b forcing Kawhi and PG to play 4 and 5 is stupid. Clearly fatigue was showing, put in damn Mann. 19mins and 23min for our other 2 starters. Ty sold. Only thing that explains this is Ty gifting Doc. And fuck Doc Rivers.

This was worse than the Lakers lost. No Giannis and we still blow a 15 point lead like come on. So frustrating

We dick around dribbling the ball or passing back and forth, then last minute pass out to perimeter. Then everyone else just stands around. NOBODY FUCKING HUSTLES. Except TMann sporadically, and Russ but he’s hurt.
Here before everyone says we lost this game because we don’t have a PF. Theis was playing good and Zu didn’t play bad either but lue went small and it backfired tonight. If we make our free throws, play hard, and don’t shit ourselves in the 4th we win this game, just have to learn how to finish games

Is there a worse passer in the NBA than Paul George? I’m being dead serious. He had a good game and he’s insanely talented at almost everything, but I’ve never seen a player consistently make inexplicable passes to opposing teammates in my life.
Ya’ll said we would play better without Westbrook and his missed layups? Who are we gonna blame now PG?

I hope I’m wrong, but I Kawhi jacked his hand up when he collided with Beverley in the 1st half. He shot like shit the whole 2nd half after that happened.
People Blaming PG when Kawhi had his worst game. Boys were tired. Glenn knows how to win without stars it’s honestly when he’s at his best. Look ahead to the next game
Shitty game by most everyone involved except Harden. An especially shitty game from Kawhi, and it’s alright to call that out since he’s our best player.
You need to win these kind of games if you’re trying to contend. Instead they bricked free throws. Been a nasty stretch post-Grammy trip.
Bobby Portis came to play, we didn’t.
In the bonus at the 9:00 minute mark of the 4th and we’re content to jack 3’s that weren’t falling. And we went small. Not that we could make a free throw anyway.
This was one to steal on the road and we screwed it up.
One positive was Bones played under control and in the flow. He hasn’t looked like garbage time Bones. Good for him.

We needed young legs and he didn’t play Mann? They had their bigs in and we played small? Is he high? Ty Lue overrated.

We are just an old team. Before people play the blame game with kawhi, pg, harden, russ, norm, zu, mann etc… just know this what this team is. We are old, we play on the perimeter more than any team in the league, we iso more, we have practically no length on either end of the floor, no rim pressure especially now, and we have guys who are targeted on defense which puts our defense in a scramble. This is who we are fans have to come to terms with it.
I know this will be unpopular, but I’m not too worried about this L, tho they should kick themselves for choking that.
It’s the regular season, no Giannis, they don’t care as much as Pat Bev, they were treating this like any 1 of 82 games. I don’t think this is reflective of any ‘mindset’ that we’re lacking. This is the NBA and teams can get hot and shift momentum out of nowhere.
Not to mention the b2b likely started to take its toll at the end of the game, especially due to Bucks’ incredibly physical defence aka foul the shit out of us and hope refs swallow the whistle which they did.
I didn’t really notice anything bad from PG? Seemed to be playing within himself and scoring efficiently, no stupid turnovers.
Also, offensively, I noticed a lot of things Ty was doing with Zu and Harden that seemed very effective. I think Harden’s choke last game can also be attributed to this new way of using the two of them, so to see them figure it out the very next day is amazing!
Edit: not saying I’m right either, but some of our previous losses to the Lakers and Twolves were much more concerning, especially due to the Harden-Zu PnR getting shut down, which Ty seems to have made a god-tier adjustment for. Still feel like he could have done something more in the 4th, but those 6 missed free throws from PG & Harden were brutal too…
Call me crazy, I’m not as down at this loss like the one against the Lakers. Tired legs on a back to back. Missing free throws are a sign of some fatigue.
If they are just gonna revert to that hero ball shit they were doing when James first got here then like we’ve seen, this team will go nowhere. To stop the James PNR game in the last 5 mins to let kawhi who was shit the entire game do iso ball is just straight brain-dead. Deserved loss
This one’s on Kawhi for me. Other than free throws Paul George shot the ball great and so did harden. Kawhi seemed a bit off. It was like he knew he wasn’t playing well and wanted to force points. He didn’t play naturally with the flow of the game and get to his natural midrange spot up. Norman Powell couldn’t hit a 3 to save himself. If there’s any bright side it’s that pg has been playing better than prior weeks. If he can keep that up with kawhi going back to usual we’ll be ok.
Unless Lue was experimenting with lineups against Mil. Why didn’t Mann or Zu play in the 4th? Obviously what they were doing in the fourth wasn’t working. Why not bring them back? Stop trying to win by being a ”genius”.
Ty must have overestimated Doc trying to play 3d games with small ball thinking Doc would counter with an even smaller ball. Unfortunately he didnt realize Doc fell asleep this game and kept his bigs in
