Kawhi Coffey as our PF C against Brook and Portis who can shoot the ball damn well. Especially after a b2b. Dude seriously got outcoached by doc fucking rivers.

As bad as PG on offense, I think his defense is worse. Lets people waltz by him to the rim and still racks up 5 fouls.
I can’t believe I have to be a hardcore Ty defender. This loss was on the players and them being fatigued from last night. Missed free throws were a huge factor tonight, and that ain’t on the coach. Let’s criticize Ty when he actually does something indefensible like play a PJ lineup with multiple non-shooters.

Small ball is supposed to be used sparingly because of how much strain it puts on your defense and Ty just spams it whenever heās out of ideas
This guy acts like he never played with Shaq and Robert Horry. You have 2 centers and a PF/C. Run Harden, Norman, PG(Kawhi was getting smacked around with no calls, imo), Theis, Zu/Plumlee and play through screens. We saw them running plays earlier in the game that were working and getting them open shots. Theis can stretch the floor a bit so two bigs won’t clog the lane offensively and guys can drive. We need it defensively. We won a defensive game just the day before.
Kawhi in small ball lineups is usually a cheat code for easy buckets but he didn’t have it tonight.
They still got Norm wide open constantly with it and he also couldn’t hit his normal shots. They sacrificed defense for offense and the offense didn’t convert.
Wouldn’t have mattered cause if he played zu portis would had wide open corner 3’s
We didn’t score either. We were in the bonus but we were content to jack 3’s that weren’t falling.
I want to go in the total opposite direction. Go big: play Theis at PF at times. He can spread the court just as well as Coffey/Mann but heās just the stronger, more physical presence that we need at PF at times. The issue with Plumlee has been the lack of a physical presence at the PF position when heās on the court, which is why heās fallen out of the rotation. Play Theis and Zu together at times as well.
