[Pina] Since January 1st, Victor Wembanyama has a higher usage rate than SGA and a better true shooting percentage than Steph Curry, all while being one of the most dominant defenders in the league

and he’s only scratching the surface. hasn’t really hit a rookie wall yet either huh?

  2. I remember watching this dude this December and thinking “that’s it? that’s what everyone is hyped about?” Then we played the Spurs again like 3 weeks later and he was a completely different player.

The shift from “eh” to “HOLY SHIT!!!” happened in a very short amount of time.

Err, I don’t get why usage rate is something to brag about, but okay.

Both make sense tbh – it’d be a travesty if wemby was being utilized less than SGA on his current team. And he’s tall as fuuuck, he better have a high FG%. His jump shooting did surprise the hell outta me during our last matchup so I’m definitely giving him props too.

  5. I don’t mean to hate but is usage rate now something good ?

If they don’t make a move for Trae young at this point I’ll be disappointed. I think there fit would be real nice. Wemby would get 15 points a game just off of alleyoops

funny how he took steph as an example after he had some really bad games.

these posts should be banned, just because OP could not provide a single number, just useless text

This has to be the worst cherry picking post I’ve ever seen.

See this is generational talent, that gets thrown around alot. To have this type of immediate impact as a player is wild and he’s still so young. This is what we thought Simmons, Zion, and KP would be doing. This guy is going to be a problem for years to come and imagine he hits that massive gain like Giannis did except he can step back 3, block you from the perimeter to the rim, can run the floor, it’s insane thinking about how his career could go

  10. He’s become a different animal. He’s awoken.

Man I wish we had the number one pick. Ausar is awesome but it’s not even the same tier

My wolves finally get a great player for the first time since 96 in Anthony edwards, okc looks like they are building a dynasty, luka is on a tear, and nothing cricket matters because this French guy came into the league. It’s just not fair.

    Usage rate is based on

    FGA: Shai 588 Wemby 448

    FTA: Shai 282 Wemby 149

    TOV: Shai 70 Wemby 97

Along with time on the court. So if he turned the ball over less, which would be… better, he would not have a higher usage rate. I don’t mean it in a bad way, it’s just a weird flex.

Guys, I’m starting to think that this guy might be pretty good at basketball. I’m not sure, though.

Wemby is obviously great but having a high usage rate isn’t inherently a positive thing lol.

  16. Alright boys, do we think he’s got all star potential?
