There’s an argument that this season Embiid has been the best scorer basketball as seen since Michael Jordan, and that’s not an exaggeration.

-Only Center to average 35+ ppg in the three point era
-Highest TS percentage for someone averaging 35+ EVER(64.5%)
-1/3 players to ever average 35+ ppg on over 60% ts. The others being Harden and Jordan.
-1/2 Centers to average 30+ ppg in the three point era
-Only Center in the three point era to average 30+ ppg in multiple seasons

Bruh when he only plays half the season it doesn’t count I’m sorry.

Just wish he could stay healthy. The best ability is availability as they say.

These stats don’t mean anything when he can’t be healthy throughout the season or get at least a Finals appearance.

  4. It’s not even an argument, it’s a fact. Dude was on an unprecedented scoring tear on top of captaining the defense.

    He is.
He’s the best player in the league and it’s close or debateable.

He was having the best non-Wilt season ever

I’m too lazy to do the comp, but how does this compare to Harden’s insane 2017 run? He was scoring 40 so regularly with only 3s, layups and FTs. Kinda wild Joel is taking mid range shots on similar (or better idk) efficiency
