Hard work was hardly an option in the Holiday household.

“My family – brothers and sisters – grew up with parents that worked out all the time,” Nuggets wing Justin Holiday said after practice Monday. “My dad works out to this day like he’s a professional athlete, and that was normal to us. Our regular preparation or regular work, I guess, is seen as hard work, and it’s just normal day in, day out.”

The results are hard to argue with. Justin’s the older brother of Celtics guard Jrue Holiday and Rockets guard Aaron Holiday. His sister, Lauren, played at UCLA. The Holiday parents, Shaun and Toya, both played at Arizona State.”

I don’t expect him to play every game in the playoffs, but there will be 2-3 games where we need him to be productive off the bench and he comes through.

I forgot that he already won a championship with the Warriors years ago. I don’t recall what his role was on that team, but it’s nice that our FA vet has that experience too

I like Holiday. He is always ready to go and can knock down a shot when we need one

Nuggets? Wings? I’ll have both, please.
