Coach you find some life there late in this one just what made it most difficult to get back in it to close out our offense collapsed in the third quarter of course you know 13 points we missed some good shots but we didn’t have a lot of movement a lot of ball

Movement uh body movement was super static um you know and that that led to turnovers really and those turnovers led to run outs and threes and that kind of stuff and also um you know they got too many key offensive rebounds when they needed it most

So and third 32 Second Chance points at least one positive there from the offense tonight yeah I mean we missed a lot of shots so at least we got him back um but yeah I mean uh um you know we got to be a little we just got to be better

But um you know we were playing we were hustling you know but we weren’t very sharp Chris you said you like some of the shots what did you think overall I mean were they just ones that weren’t going I mean I like some I didn’t like

All of them I thought um you know when we did move the ball we worked and we found good ones um and we just didn’t make them I thought you know but I I actually thought we saw started the third quarter really soft you know come some runners in between shots just the

Type of stuff that they wanted you you know to to take and and um we just it kind of fed this like lethargic start to the third um but uh you know we couldn’t we really never could find like a rhythm offensively so when we did we missed the

Shot 14 turnovers isn’t a lot in overall but did you see a lot of live ball at wrong play we had five in the first five or six minutes of the game um again you know standing around being in each other’s way poor spacing um not moving

For each other and then very similar in the in the third you know um kind of just too much holding not enough actions not enough cutting um and then you know just uh sloppy play sloppy handling Chris you guys have had a few more early game foul challenges um what

How do you kind of was a real bad challenge actually I thought I it I mean it I thought it it was the right call I mean I thought thought it was I thought I thought we were going to win it but um you know our philosophy is you know 5050

Calls or judgment calls early in the game we shouldn’t really use um I thought Nas was there I thought it was clearly a charge that’s why I did it um you know but when things are left up the interpretation the things that you should should challenge earlier in the

Game need to be way more cut and dry than that you know um so yeah that’s on me so and then late game defensively it seemed like forced him in a lot of tough looks is that yeah we did I mean they made I mean lard made some tough shots

You know but at that point in time we needed to miss them all so in the third quarter after your timeout you guys ran an ATL set and scored um and you’ve referenced now just your movement um especially when you’re going through laws do you feel like you guys need to

Dial up more offensive sets I know in the past you’ve said you don’t want to be reliant on them but I mean we we run a lot more sets than we’ve ever run my time here you know we’ve run a lot of sets uh you know um you know I think it

Was whether we ran sets or not we it didn’t matter you know there were certain lineups out there that were particularly like not willing to move uh their bodies as much as their ball as the ball so yeah I don’t know if it was the balance or not but so Chris I know

You said Dame got hot there in the the second half he really kind of shut his water off in the the first half just overall how would you assess the the job you guys did on Damen Lillard tonight I thought we did a great job a set the

Tone right away um you know uh we did a really good job he was playing for the foul heavy in the first half he was trying to launch himself into us they did they did a good job of not rewarding him there um and I thought that was key

For his slow start you know um but yeah do you think this team is more easily distracted or distractable than most teams you’ve had I mean it seems like it’s pretty obvious what works for you guys and they go away from it yeah for extended periods of time you know

That’s just a maturity thing um just a maturity thing at times you know it’s it’s it’s always been in us um I don’t know if distracted is the case or not but you know we um you know I thought we fought the game a lot tonight you know

Really fought it like there was a lot of uh you know it half time I we showed a lot of Clips on just low hanging fruit that we felt was out there and I felt really good coming out of the third I thought we were going to make the

Adjustments and um but again we just we just looked soft coming out at the third you know we didn’t play with enough like um kind of force it almost seemed like you were rusty though I mean yeah I’m sure I’m sure we were Rusty you know so when Milwaukee went on their their

Run in the third Rudy got a little hobbled up there did you think about calling a timeout at all to to try and get him out or or that we were going to yeah we were going to well I used a couple timeouts already so I was trying

Not to um but then he wanted to see if he could run it off too so and when you come out of the the All-Star break you I don’t know if you almost expect guys shots to to be off in a way and and do

You expect that at all or or kind of how do you how do you come into a game like this I mean I guess everyone’s you know not going to be you know in the exact same form that they were before the break but it you know everybody it’s not
