Luka playing 43 minutes in a near blowout loss. This is his 3rd game of 40+ minutes played in the last 5. He’s played 40+ minutes in 11 of his last 17 games, and 37+ mpg in 14/17 games.
We are getting to the point where Kidd is completely out of options and is just playing his star 40+ mpg, hoping he can initiate all the offense and pull out a win. He did this exact thing in Milwaukee with Giannis his last season and a half before getting fired. One can hope he sees the end in sight and is doing a last ditch effort to keep his job.

Few thoughts besides the obvious Fire Jason Kidd and bench THJ
1. Mental Maturity – Refs were total dogshit today but we lost our cool and didnāt stay composed in the third. Thatās starts with Luka – it felt like he was trying to bait fouls to prove a point
2. DJJ and Exum are both better options than Josh Green. They are significantly better on ball defenders. I thought DJJ was the only guy remotely keeping up with McConnell
3. Beyond what he brings skill set wise, Gaffords energy and intensity is desperately needed on this team and I fucking hate how stoic Maxi is. Even when heās played great defense, you donāt see him make energy plays.
4. At the very least, I believe we have found our starting PF for the next few years with PJ Washington. Heās done as well as we could have expected. Hopefully he can improve as a shooter (mainly in the corners) this off-season.
Season is over, lakers have momentum, warriors on a run, pelicans secured 5th seed, suns hanging and the kings arent backing down, mavs gave up man
Roster is as good as itās been in years, Luka playing at MVP level and weāre imploding. We canāt afford to even wait until the end of the season to let Kidd go. Fire him now, let Dudley run as interim and hire an actual coach in the offseason. Not dirks buddy and because he won a ring here

We are in March, and the Mavs are playing their worst basketball of the season despite being the healthiest theyāve been all year.
They are the worst defensive team in the league right now, even worse than bottom-feeders like Washington and Detroit. There is 0 chemistry on that end of the floor, and nobody knows what theyāre doing half the time.
This screams coaching, because the roster is the best itās ever been in the Luka era. Kidd has clearly lost the team. He needs to be dismissed ASAP.
