At least he knows he at an organisation thatā€™s supportive.

IOW, who knows when he’ll disappear again. Frustrating.

I just can’t get frustrated because family becomes before everything and everybody. It always has with me. And hell I’m not even set up for life. He’s not risking anything by dealing with his personal issues because even if the Warriors let him go tomorrow he will be on another team next year. And if not he’ll be okay.

I give him props for coming back to the team.

During the NBA Finals 2022, Andrew Wiggins played a significant role in defending Tatum.

As a fan, I fully support the Warriors organization for being there for their players, just as their players have always been there for us fans. We have won four championships in just eight years, and have made it to the finals six times in the past decade. There are very few teams in the league that can boast of such an impressive record.

It’s gotta be a sick family member? wasn’t there a rumor about his dad possibly being sick? He doesn’t have to tell us but damn it would help us to understand what’s going on.

Super glad to have Andrew back and hope he has all the love and support he needs moving forward. Really appreciate his sacrifice.

Weā€™ve all dealt, dealing with and forever be dealing with personal matters. But, if every time I walk away from my job because of that, Iā€™d be terminated. If I have enough money put away for me and my family to be able to afford to survive financially for the rest of our lives, Iā€™d walk away from my job especially if itā€™s a job critical to the team/company. Let someone else fill that critical role.

Hope Phoenix crashes and burns so we can get KD for Wiggs swap

I hope we get him at 100% or he should stay away and deal with the issue.

I feel kinda bad for Wiggins. He obviously doesn’t want to talk about it. And yet, these people keep asking.

Ok wow this sub blows my mind.

People here be acting like this nba champion / all star owes them something. They are acting like they on the team.

Family is bigger than anything, especially sports.

Itā€™s unfortunate timing but I know personally Iā€™d rather be there for the people I love most than the fans that shit on ā€œtheir teamā€ and their future hall of famers have been having off nights.

He is an elite athlete at the highest level, he has earned more money in one year than most of us will ever in our lifetime. He doesnā€™t owe any of you a damn thing.

Ya think if his family is on their dead bed heā€™s gonna regret being there instead of making sure his warriors team avoids the playin?

Yā€™all forgetting sports is entertainment. Like I love sports basketball and the nba. But my life didnā€™t get better after any of the warriors championships.

Some of you would shoot Wiggins entire family if it guaranteed a championship.

ā€œIf I did that at my job Iā€™d be fired.ā€ A lot to unpack there, but ya know, you arenā€™t a celebrity, nba champion, nba all star, multi millionaire, and key player in the second most valuable franchise in all sports of all time.

Stop pretending that your call center job is comparable in anyway. Yā€™all are replaceable. An elite athlete is not.

    Chill.

  13. I think fans are frustrated just because of the lack of information weā€™re receiving it seems hella vague. Iā€™m not asking for any details to be released but give us a ballpark idea of whatā€™s going on so we can be empathetic to the situation & more understanding. I think itā€™s also frustrating because this team is making a final push and starting to get its groove back & the fans feel blindsided in consecutive seasons by his absence for personal matters. Iā€™m not saying one way is right or wrong, just my observations. All in all the right thing to do is to support the player.
