Shoot the ball as he well as he normally does I did think he did a great great job but coming up on today’s show we’re going be breaking down the whole game talking about ob’s debut and why I actually do think the Bulls maybe found a Hidden Gem with the man from Turkey

Think had the highest Plus plus minus out of anybody on the Bulls team it was OB at plus 16 he was actually tied with another guy we’ll talk about here Kobe white at plus 16 but let’s start off defensively um he just plays hard like that was my number one takeaway with him

He looks like a dude who is trying to earn a roster spot and I respect the hell out of that I mean him flying all over the floor diving on loose balls last night and actually when he did get matched up on Donovan Mitchell a couple

Times I thought he did a pretty solid job you know he has a talking about his athletic frame for a little bit like he has really good size to him in terms of like physical strength and he’s got a sneaky sneaky long wingspan he’s 6’6 215

Lbs probably has at like 68 wingspan and I just love his game he is 24 years old so I do expect him you know still be able to develop and kind of fill out that frame a little more but his athleticism showed yesterday he was actually a two-time Dunk champion when

He was playing in Turkey so this didn’t really shock me too much but what shocked me in terms of his athleticism is the way he was able to move laterally like he was staying in front of Caris LT Darius Garland Donovan Mitchell multiple occasions last night and obviously as we

Know those are some of the best kind of uh dribble penetration guards we have in the entire NBA and he was able to maintain uh with them so I loved what I saw defensively from him I mean the man played 28 minutes against one of the

Better teams in the NBA and the Bulls just ended up giving it to him or he just ended up giving it to the Cavs and you know let’s talk about offensively here cuz he was shooting 43% from downtown with the Wy City Bulls in the G League very very impressive but

Obviously when I saw that I said you know can he do that at the NBA speed because you know it’s easy to shoot in an up and down game in the G League where like you know guys are obviously not as big not as athletic not as long

As they are in the NBA last night he had two open uh shots and he knocked them both down and you know he shot him with confidence too and also when what I noticed with him offensively like obviously the offense wasn’t being run through him at all it was a lot ran

Through Demar de R rozan Who Demar got to the line 19 times last night and knocked down 17 a big reason why the Bulls ended up winning this game was free throws and rebounding which fun fact the Bulls had 71 rebounds yesterday or maybe or they ended up with 74

Rebounds which was the most since 1970 for a Bulls team Drummond uh hauled in 26 of those but you know what I like from on offense is he just stayed ready like I was watching him cuz obviously when he was on the floor I kind of had

An extra eye on him and just watching him play off ball he’s always shooter ready ready to put a three up he was almost like it almost seemed like he was foaming at the mouth to get another opportunity which I love because you know if you’re shooting a basketball

Confidence I I really believe this confidence is 80% of shooting the ball like if you’re stepping into a shot and you’re saying I’m hitting this every single time I can’t wait to put another one up it’s obviously going to help you out and he knocked down both

Opportunities last night he was three of four 10 points I mean he was also hitting the glass using his athleticism on that side he had six rebounds you know as well and then it was also late in the game one thing that I loved about just kind of his Mantra and his Persona

Late in the game blls are trying to you know run the clock out they’re going they’re playing the free throw line game and OB he gets this Bo or he gets the board or Drummond gets the board kicks it up to OB and OB had a chance to kind

Of give the ball up to Kobe white maybe Demar to Rose and he had both those guys open instead he held it for himself wanted to get fouled stepped up to the free throw line knocked down two big time Big Time free throws which just you

Know shout at OB man I mean that was a big pressure situation and he just stepped up to the line and straight up knocked them down and you know I don’t know what his potential will be in the NBA but you know I was looking at

Another guy on the other side of the uh floor and a guy like Max stru like I was saw very similar things obviously I don’t think he’ll ever be the shooter stru is I don’t want to disrespect in that regard because streu has that blackout factor or if he sees two go in

He’s going to be locked in for the rest of the game but he almost seems like a less Dead Eye shooter but more athletic Max stru and if he could just continue to develop like I really think he could be special and you know I’m not saying

Obviously he’s going to be an All-Star I think that would be putting you know lofty expectations on the kid but could he be a really solid role player on a winning team 100% plays the game of the right way he doesn’t over dribble he just kind of seemed like you know a lot

Of these guys that come from overseas they don’t play that one-on-one style like it’s more team style which I love from OB he played it last night and he was absolutely he was absolutely balling out so if you guys want to show OB some

Give it to Demar and it’s just a clear out cuz I think it’s almost like a negative for dear that he can get to a shot every single time like dear can get to that mid-range he can get to that high post area he can turn around and

Hit a jump shot I mean streu was also hacking him the entire double overtime and they just refused to call it but I just feel like the Bulls offense gets a little too stagnant when they run it like that obviously that is end of the game NBA situations give the ball to

Keep going back to this double big lineup that they’ve been running because it works like it imposes you know this sense of physicality on another team which I never thought the Bulls had an ability to do because I dumo I was a big guard 6’4 long wingspan really strong
