Favorite highlight of Jalens young career. Showcasing his handle, not picking up his dribble, change of speeds, and finishing with touch which has been a big issue I’ve noticed in him. He’s gotten much better in finishing high degree of difficulty layups (and even the easy ones for that matter) as this season has progressed. IMO, this play opened up for him because he’s become more of a willing passer/playmaker. Little improvements are starting to add up. He still needs to become a more efficient shooter, but basketball is highly mental and as soon as he gets out of his own head and starts playing loose, the sky’s the limit.

Just needs to get consistent with his shot. Guy will be so hard to defend.

Listen to the crowd after he averts the initial pressure from the defender. He’s walking towards the 3 line to work on an iso but realized he can just take it to the rim when he wants to impress the crowd.
