– when Murray joined in 2016, Spurs have won one chip with Kawhi two years ago and the team needs a new starting PG to help overcome Warriors dynasty
Pop said in the interview that he purposely tried to “break” Tony and see if he was the one. I think maybe Pop was doing the same thing to Murray, but unfortunately it seems Murray didn’t take it in a good way (deep down).

I see similarities between the two scenarios:
– both came to the league young as a rookie
