Maybe this is the Piston's way of adding Gibson as an assistant coach in practice. He should not in any way, get playing time in an actual game. The young big men can learn how to play team defense with Gibson.
Good move if they decide they wanna keep him. If its just a regular 10 day then let him go then it’s pointless.
