Moved up to small forward he was playing Power Forward um and we have Isaiah Stewart back at that power forward position and and as always Jaylen dur okay so th this is the starting lineup that the Pistons have been putting out now here’s my thing when I look at that

Starting lineup I love the back court I do I love the fact that assar Thompson is playing um but my big issue with this lineup is the lack of spacing in a sense where I like Isaiah Stewart a lot but he’s such a spot up three-point shooter

If you run him off that three-point line he doesn’t have a game right now where he can put the ball on the floor yet maybe he can develop that I don’t know we’d have we’re going to have to wait and see but the reason why I like the

Starting lineup while he was suspended and while he was you know out with injury was you still had your back court you still had Cade and iy as your point guard and your shooting guard you slotted in Simone fanto at small forward assar Thompson at Power forward in Jaylen Duran It

Center I thought that was the lineup that made the most sense for the Pistons spacing wise and the numbers actually backed that up I want to put a tweet on the screen uh from Jack Kelly if you guys do not follow Jack Kelly on Twitter

What does this mean at the end of the day what is offensive rating defensive rating net rating mean it means in the lineup that Jack stated it was Cade Ivy Tech 19 SAR Thompson Jaylen durren when those guys are on the floor together it’s a good basketball team

It’s a good starting five they have a very good offensive rating meaning they scored the basketball at a very high rate defensively it’s not really that big of a drop off I think this is the starting line of the Pistons need to just put out there for the next 20 games

Just for the fact that I need to see and I think a lot of you guys as fans want to see what does Kate Cunningham look like with another floor spacer and a guy that’s able to put the ball on the floor and Simone fanto we all know Isaiah Stewart has

Improved from shooting the three-point shot he has improved a lot I will give him his flowers in that respect but I I think one part of his game is once you run him off that three-point line he’s not able to put the ball on the floor

Yet and I think he would be more valuable and I know a lot of you guys have said this and I will give you guys credit for that because you’re very smart you said I like Isaiah Stewart but I don’t like him in the starting lineup I think Isaiah Stewart would be more

Valuable Off the Bench you guys have even gone one step further and saying like hey you know I I think having Isaiah Stewart to back up Jaylen Duren at the backup center position would make more sense for this team in the long term because he’s an energy and a glue

Guy and I 100% agree I think Isaiah Stewart at the backup center position would alleviate us from playing James wisman I think James wisman has improved this season but I don’t think he’s improved enough where you’re basically giving him the backup center position uh to back up jayl Ander who knows if James

Wi weisman’s even going to be here next year who knows if James wisman um will get another team interested in him he’s just a very raw Prospect right now and I get Troy Weaver wants to get a better look at him um it’s a big reason why they did decide to trade Marvin

Bagley they wanted to get wisan War reps and he’s been getting those backup center RS nothing against James wisman I just don’t think he’s going to be part of the Detroit Pistons future plans I think when you look up the backup center position it’s either going to be Isaiah

Ste W’s position or they’re going to bring in a veteran backup center this summer I don’t think James wisman getting Reps for the next 20 games is really going to change a whole lot um any perspective in the front office if they want to resign him if they don’t

That’s just my opinion on it I did want to put some one fanto stats on the screen though as he has played 10 games with the Pistons and as you guys can see he’s playing around 28 and a half minutes a game put up 15 points a game 46.7 from the field

41.5% from three 78.6 from the free throw line you can even look down to his Utah stats he’s averaging more points a game in around five more minutes played he’s shooting about a percent and a half better here in Detroit and his three-point percentage has gone up

Around a a percent 2% more since the trade ra with the Detroit Pistons I think the evidence is clear that Simone fento in the starting lineup with Kate Cunningham Jade NY assar Thompson and Jaylen Duran that lineup actually worked that lineup was actually fun to watch nothing against Isaiah Stewart I just
