I didn’t read the comments in that thread but There are a lot of haters in the world and embiid is easy to hate on due to the “narrative” (can’t get out of the second round and free throw merchant). Don’t worry about haters and enjoy embiids greatness while we have it on the Sixers.
Other fan bases don’t understand the facts about embiid because they don’t watch him or follow as much as Sixers fans. Not going to list off the front office blunders, player issues, and player turnover we have had during embiids tenure but Sixers fan understand all of that. If you watch embiid as much as we do, you also realize he isn’t a free throw merchant but rather he’s unguardable AND almost literally our entire defense while leading the league in scoring.
Edit: the other guys on that list regardless of how we view them are finals mvps besides Luka who is 5 years younger than embiid and first team all nba every year besides his rookie year.

It’s a great list of players. Embiid is great. But putting my sixers love aside, he probably does come in last on that list. “Worst” is a negative take on a list of great players. It all comes down to his health and his post season success for me. I just personally don’t care about regular season awards. No one ever got a parade for winning MVP.

Joel Embiid is the best player of the 6 and if you have watched him play in any nba game he is the best player on the court no matter who he plays against. He goes crazy every time vs Jokic, he’s beat up on Lebron and AD a lot, etc

I would say you could take embiid over current steph and kd. Luka and him are the same production wise as luka is insane at passing but embiid is an all defensive team level defender while scoring more and more efficiently than luka.

The worst player here is Luka. As much as he puts up gaudy numbers offensively, his defensive effort is consistently poor. I saw a defensive breakdown the other day of the Mavs last 5 games. And Luka is giving up by far the most points on the team with the opposing player having the highest efficiency vs any Mavs player when he’s the primary defender.
