I hope this doesn’t get noticed by MAGAts for their culture wars.

It makes sense. They’ll have a significant advantage if they can take over the top seed, given how much better they play at home than on the road. It made a difference in the playoffs last year, where only Miami was able to eek out a win in Denver. This reason for not visiting the White House is completely different than the myriad of teams who declined to visit during the last administration. The Nuggets are a focused and disciplined team. If they were to look unprepared against Minnesota, it would be blames on the visit, and I’m sure none of the players or staff want to deal with any of that nonsense in press conferences.

They would have visited the white house if DeAndre Jordan was president.

they can just visit after the season when they win another championship. 😎

We gotta stop with this worn out old tradition anyhow. Following the nuggets and the nba is a major way I enjoy my free time and thoughts in life. Listening to American politician is a major way I make myself angry and unhappy. Why mix these things.

Anyone else extremely disappointed we aren’t getting a White House visit?

I know some fans don’t care but I waited 30 years for a title and just seeing your favorite team at the White House is one of those special moments that goes along with it. I’ve seen a million other teams from all sports get to go, I wanted the nuggets to go as well
