Hmm not my favourite comp since it implies his ceiling is limited to the ‘2nd’ star alongside the key superstar. But I can see it too, it’s a fairly likely scenario if we want to be more level headed.

Pau had a reliable jump shot and some post moves. Sengun is a better scorer around the basket and a superior passer. I don’t think this a nice comparison.
If the Rockets can get a 3 point marksman with some defense, Sengun will look like Baby Jokic.

I’d take 20 year old Sengun over prime Pau in a heartbeat. Pau was a solid complimentary player, but Sengun is a whole system (similar to Harden). Both players are physical and play with a lot of heart for sure.
