Expect to see him get more minutes the rest of the year. Tank commander 🫡

  2. Not in future plans anymore, is only receiving minutes right now due to injuries, if the majority of the guys were healthy, he’d be racking up DNPs, it is what it is

He’s been fine on a team that’s bad. It was great to watch him hustle tonight. But you can see how he doesn’t fit with Darkos scheme. Everytime he was given the ball to do one of the big handoffs we do it was a struggle. And good luck getting him to notice someone cutting, let alone getting the ball to him. He’d be really useful on a playoff team and I’d hope we move him for a second round pick this draft to get a high floor player who can fit in.

Plays with effort…a fucking minimum that we should expect even if we’re tanking. Would rather see BOUCHER than McDaniels.

The DNPs never made sense, reduced minutes? Sure but he is the most energetic guy on the bench and gives the whole team life and you’re gonna just leave him on the bench? Screw not fitting the timeline, let him show the young fellas how to play with emotion and energy!

folks thought they were geniuses for siding with the rookie HC that played bad vets over good vets and younger prospects that fit his contrived scheme better than the bad vets he was infatuated with

It’s almost like you guys don’t understand how tanking/development works

I’m not one to complain about this coaching staff and I really like watching a new style of basketball but man is it frustrating to see Boucher just sit there and basically waste away games because darko won’t play him

  9. Veracsflail1

The DNPs are purely politics and nothing to do with his play

Here’s a concept that people on here don’t seem to understand

Mediocre players get more minutes and stats on bad teams

Examples being Boucher and Dalano Banton

    That’s all you’re seeing here

Arguing over Chris Boucher minutes like he will change anything.

The raptors don’t care about winning but they also aren’t trying to send the message to the players that they don’t care about winning.

So if there’s a chance at a spectacular comeback or a big win, Chris will play. Any other outcome he won’t.

  13. Remember when Boucher got 40/20 during Tampa and people here were saying he was better than Pascal? Lmao

Y’all overreact way too much, Boucher is a decent bench piece but even with all of his hustle, he is way too inconsistent and makes far too many mistakes for a 31 yo role player. I hope the Raptors do him a solid and trade him to a good team next season.
