This dude shot 1-15 for 3 quarters then dropped 16 in the fourth in an elimination game. Did people really think Tatum is going to be down on himself after 2 regular season games? There’s levels to delusional confidence (in a good way) superstars have that no one on Reddit or in the media can relate to.

I have zero complaints about his game yesterday. I had many after the Denver game.
29/10/7 with 13 points in the fourth quarter is a good game, despite the inefficiency. It wasn’t a dominant performance but a good one that led to a win.
He did his job which is to close.
You can nitpick if you want but all your doing is nitpicking, and most likely carrying over feelings from the Denver game.

I’ve been real critical of this dude the last week but if he ends up winning a chip this year, his career will skyrocket like nothing else. Wins Banner 18, signs the richest Supermax in History, and gets to likely win Gold on the Olympics this summer? Yeah that’s a good offseason, and how to make yourself the face of the league. The MVP votes will trickle in shortly after. If he falls short again with how talented his supporting cast is….well that’s another conversation that will be had. Interesting times ahead for sure
