Honestly the Indiana pick was already looking like a lock for 15th so this is pretty bumming, was looking forward to watching him rep Canada in the Olympics

1st and 4th picks in this draft
Lock it in

Hate seeing any Canadian player get injured. He was just starting to live up to the potential he showed in his rookie season. Was also hoping to see him rep Canada in the Olympics.

Sucks man, that’s the same injury/surgery Pascal had, but at least for him it was his non-shooting arm. I have a torn labrum right now and waiting on the same surgery, feel so bad for Bennedict

Hes for sure out for Canada? There is 4.5 months until the Olympics.

I mean, at the end of the day, it’s still a great trade for the Pacers…they got an All-NBA forward for a late lottery pick and a couple of very late-round pick, that’s a steal for them either way
For us, it’s a major bonus as we might be able either move up the draft board and go after someone the FO really loves or add a solid rotation piece

Nightmare scenario of pacers missing out on playoffs, pick jumping to top 3 and raptors losing their pick would be crazy 😭

There goes the Shai, Jamal, RJ, Ben, plus any competent center flamethrower lineup.

As someone who’s watched a bunch of Indiana games and checking the stats, him being off the court is actually better for the Pacers. He’s a net negative player for them. 110 off rtg and 122 def rtg

They coulda kept Bruce Brown and let us have Mathurin. They traded away Buddy too.

I don’t give a shit about the Olympics if Shai and Jamal are playing we already have our starting backcourt we need the pacers pick to be 4-10 🙏
