Last night and let me let me say this too it was a great game nothing to take away from the game it was a fantastic game it went down to the wire high level basketball was being played uh this was one of those games where like some some

There’s some games chat I’m going just be honest I put I I put it on and I kind of mindlessly watch this was one of those games where if you really are a basketball fans you’re watching every single possession how you know certain reads are made how defenses react to

Certain actions all of that this was one of those games and I was paying very close attention to this game um and yeah I was disappointed I was disappointed in the Boston Celtics and my confidence with this team winning a championship um has gone down from

60% to 45 after um after this game I’m I’m going be honest with you there’s still confidence there a lot of season left I still believe in this team this team is still contending for a championship and I do still think they they they have what it takes to win a

Championship a lot of the pieces are there um but my biggest takea away from from this game is um listen I’ve said it all season long and I’m still standing by it I said it last season as well push comes to show we can we can surround

This guy with as many pieces as we want we can fill the gaps in this play as much as we want you can have all the talent in the world as much as we want um I said it when we were talking about Jaylen Brunson and I’m standing by

It you do not win a championship without a tier one player playing at a tier one level let me say that again in my opinion you do not win a championship without a tier one player playing at a tier one level and I’ve been very consistent with that throughout NBA

History and throughout the season when I’ve been talking about the Boston Celtics and what it takes in general to win a championship because if we look at NBA history we look at the Denver Nuggets they had joic 2022 Steph 2021 Giannis 2020 LeBron and AD to be honest with you

Kawai Steph and KD Stephen KD uh Lebron James Stephen Curry now some people have even argued maybe Steph Curry is that the the first team where you know their best player wasn’t a tier one player playing at a tier one level but you can still make the case for Steph Curry

Especially after the playoffs um and him winning the MVP that yeah you know it was a tier one player but I I I feel like the first example that you could look at and say okay they didn’t have a tier one player playing at a tier one

Level is the 2014 San Antonio Spurs okay so BOOM 2014 fine that’s an example that you can bring up 2013 LeBron 2012 LeBron 2011 Durk uh you can make an argument that Durk wasn’t playing that tier one level but I would say for a majority of the playoffs he was Um 2010 Kobe 2009 Kobe 2008 kg um 2007 Tim Duncan but you can make the case uh who won the finals MVP whatever whatever but still I would say majority of NBA history I understand we can nitpick on if kg was playing at a tier

One level if Tim dunan was playing at a tier one level in the finals and Durk and you know a couple of these dudes um but a majority of NBA history you need that guy and it’s just with this team Jason Tatum is like border like
