Make Bitim the first option
Bitim and Philips were the only bright spots in this game

Stacey was spot on.
Last 2 games have absolutely exposed our drop coverage in the PnR. Our weakside help defender couldn’t do anything to stop zubac or lively or gafford because it’s an undersized player like a guard. A PnR ballhandler that is a good passer like Harden or Luka will absolutely feast.
Not sure why billy couldn’t try something like double bigs with drummond being the weakside denender, but you see just how important Pwill can be defensively as he was a great help defender with the requisite size. Also Billy coulda tried to mix up the pick and roll coverages cuz it’s clear pure drop with vuc was not working.
Haliburton and Harden are next so it’ll be interesting if Billy can adjust.
Also we were super sloppy on offense and not hustling on transition defense which didn’t help.
It was written when we couldn’t get to .500 the bball gods had to reset us back to 3 games away. Loved what I saw from JP and OB today though.
Felt like we were due for a game like this, especially with how thin our lineup is.
Hoping for a bounce back game against Indiana as they’re a bit on/off lately and have just lost Mathurin for the season. Unless they rest against OKC……..
Bulls made Gafford & Lively look like Tim Duncan & David Robinson
Sanogo dropped 23 and 13 in his last Windy City Bulls game, there shouldn’t be a reason not to atleast see what he can do
Vuc doesn’t protect the basket. and he’s so slow to get his hands up and contest

Does anyone know Coby’s stats since the break? Other than a couple of games it’s seems like he’s been pretty bad. I know he’s exhausted with the min but man if he’s not playing well, it makes it hard to be hopeful for anything.

Despite all the practice over the last decade, I still find it really fucking difficult settling in as a fan of a mid af team. There’s just so little to be excited about and I see no light at the end of the tunnel. This is a directionless franchise.
I’m kinda hoping we don’t make the play ins so the FO sees how mediocre we are as a basketball team.
Why the hell would the NBA schedule the Bulls for a back to back after they just had a 4 game road trip?

Was watching the game and a friend who is a Magic fan was screaming at the tv for the Bulls to box out, all while they made no adjustments to Luka and Gaff just gashing them. All I could do was chuckle, same ol Bulls and same ol Billy.
