The Dallas Mavericks defeat the Chicago Bulls, 127-92. For Dallas, Luka Doncic led the way recording his 17th triple double of the season, 7th consecutive, and 73rd of his career with 27 points (6 3PM), 12 rebounds, and 14 assists while aided by Dereck Lively II (22 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks) and Daniel Gafford (20 points, 7 rebounds, 9-9 FG) in the victory. Onuralp Bitim finished with 17 points and 6 rebounds with DeMar DeRozan tallying 13 points for Chicago. Dallas improves to 37-28, while Chicago moves to 31-34.
Daniel Gafford sets a new record for consecutive FGM in the play-by-play era (since 1997-98) with 23 consecutive baskets without a miss:

Luka is just a monster. 15/6/7 in the first quarter??? Sadly he lost his 30pt streak, but the wins are all that really matters. At least he has the longest streak in the history of the NBA. I said that with Washington and Gafford he would become a triple double machine because of his options and forcing defenders to stay home and that's exactly what happened. He's not going to get one every night, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got at least 15 more this season.
Luka did his thing but he should’ve had one more rebound I believe it was in the 3rd quarter ‼️💯

For MVP — 1. Jokic 2. SGA 3. Giannis 4. Luka SGA ahead of Luka only because he has his team playing great and he works hard on defense.
If Luka produces team wins like this game then he'll pass SGA. I'd like to see the Mavs beat some top tier teams if Luka is going to claim that MVP award.🙂
