DA hasn’t missed a step after coming back from the hand sprain. It’s so much easier to watch when he’s playing.

Scoot is going to be so good man
KillingTime_ForNow
Really wish we had sold high on Simons last offseason, doubt we’re gonna get much for him if he continues to look like this the rest of the season.

Grant was putrid tonight. One of the worst games I’ve seen from him.

I don’t understand how anyone can think Scoot is going to be a bust, but someone at Wendy’s thought surge pricing was a good idea

Good:
Ayton
Bad:
Everything else

It’s really frustrating watching Scoot have to pass up on the Pritchard one on one multiple times to get the ball to a Grant or Ayton iso. Then, Scoot spaces on the perimeter until he gets the ball back and has to shoot off the catch, which is not really a strength for him as of now. Scoot seems to me like a good enough ball handler to break down a defender like Pritchard and get past him to create an advantage, then either shoot or kick from that position. I feel like that’s what he’s been best at this year.

Jerami Grant looked asleep tonight. Also, half the moda center were Boston fans.

At least we didn’t lose by 52 like that other team.

To be fair, this is the latest in the season that Grant has played in 3+ years.

Wizards fan coming in peace.
One small consolation: your team is down but unlike the Wizards at least you have a watchable broadcast with good production values.

These are the type of games that are frustrating about Ant, best team in the NBA, you want to show out, be a competitor, no Jrue (but White but still), the same thing we get on Ayton about motor and give a shit-ness, Ant looks miserable out there. I think i saw Ayton yelp at Ant a couple times during this game, especially on Defense about the motor issue which is ironic.

Decent showing against a contender, Boston is just stingy af. Ayton makes us so much more watchable at least. Obviously the injuries have played a major factor in our ability to develop consistency but man.
I really hope Joe makes a serious effort to build a more cohesive roster around our young guys next year. Give Scoot, Shae and our ’24 pick/s a platform to excel, let them succeed or fail on their own metrit. More off-ball specialists, less ball-dominant players at every position, and ideally a coach willing to implement a movement heavy offense and be willing to suck ass at it for 12-18 months until the team learns it like the back of their hand.
This season has felt far too much like spinning wheels. The rebuilding version of the two timeline line-straddling confusion of the last 3 Dame years.

Thought Scoot had some really shaky shifts but I was proud of his resiliency and development and shout out to Billups for actually playing him 33 minutes. I was really happy to see late in the game where Boston yet again sagged off Scoot completely and instead of shooting the 3, Scoot read the court – drove to the paint – collected himself and nailed a 10 foot over Derrick White. Scoot was playing into Bostons hands by bricking 3s, turning it over, or bad attempts at the rim. But that final shot attempt, he learned to stay composed.
Rough game all together, he has a lot to work but I think it was another positive flash on what he could be. The past 3 games he played including the All Star game, he has put on some nasty crossovers to get to the rim. If he can continue to add to his bag to pair with his strength and quickness, that makes him even harder to guard. 13/6/8 5 turnovers 5/12 1-5 not awful outing for his first game vs #1 team in the league

Looking forward to the days of not having to watch GrAnt-ball
